another fkn loan ??? perhaps the club should just sell to whoever wants him. his value is diminishing with each passing year. i hope Milan are paying his wages.

A loan with the option to buy is the worst thing we can do... At least if the option wasnt there, his value could go up and maybe we'd be able to sell him for decent money after his loan deal is over...

As things stand, Milan have no obligation to play him, no obligation to buy him, and as far as I can tell they are getting him for very cheap and if he does well they'll be able to buy him for very cheap as well.... Baffling

He's a very good footballer and never really got his chance with the side... I would have thought Kenny of all people would give him a chance given his style of play but I guess he never really featured in his plans... best of luck with the Italian champions

He doesn't want to play for us. He can take his moody puss back to Italy.

And that is exremly poor judgement, going with players like Adam and Henderson instead. Ok, he isn't british or bought by the current regime but ffs  :no

According to bbc site.

Alberto Aquilani is ready to make an impact at AC Milan as his loan move from Liverpool nears completion. "I am delighted to have arrived here," said Aquilani. "This is a leap in my career."

Firstly - :censored: off then

Secondly - loan move? Why? Thought we were selling?

Reds agree Aquilani deal
25th Aug 2011 - Latest News

Liverpool FC have reached an agreement, subject to a medical, for Alberto Aquilani to join AC Milan on loan for the remainder of the current season. The deal includes an option to make the move a permanent one.

Director of Football Damien Comolli said: "I want to pay tribute to the way Alberto has conducted himself during these discussions.

"Throughout the entire process, his only desire has been to play football and he has put this ahead of any other considerations and at personal cost to himself. We wish him well for the season ahead."

He is playing CL now.

Partly our own fault for letting him go.

Don't worry, he'll be back just in time for next year's summer window.

Ffs so by the time his loan is finished next season his contract will be considerably less with us which means he will be going on free anyway, What a waste of money. Saying that I suppose the current owners haven't spent that money on him.......

But they have spent money on Jordan Henderson.

He doesn't want to be here and that's the end of it for me. I'd rather keep Raul out of the two anyway after his impact against Arsenal

no need for the comments and things but he wants to play his trade in Italy.

All the best to the lad, it's never worked, we haven't built a relationship with the guy but at least he's done all of this behind closed doors
