I really don't understand how you've managed to conjure up as much faith in him as you have but kudos for managing to do so

His number in training isn't reflective of the number he'll have in the first team tho is it?

squad numbers  are not confirmed for ages yet...wouldn't read much into the fact he's number 36

Yes they are reflective of the actual numbers, you can see for instance Agger with number 5.

I suppose it means there is still doubt about either whether he will be sold or what number will be allocated, there are several lower numbers that he could have been given.

Carra telling him to toughen up or asking for holiday tips to Italy? :D

Looks like Cara has just told Alberto a joke, and all Alberto is thinking is:

"I can't understand a word this guy is saying. Is he speaking English? I told my agent he had to find me a team where I can understand my team mates!"

hmmm....

They announced on LFC TV earlier that Adam is 26, Spearing 20, Henderson 14 and Maxi 11, the last one surprises me slightly as I would have assumed that would be saved for a new left sided player.
No mention of Aquilani.

really don't think he rates in Kenny's plans and all the talk of him coming back is just posturing to get a good price for him.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him go out on loan again...

I think its safe to say that kenny is looking at the players that have proved themselves in the prem, Aquilani for one reason or another hasnt really done that.

Sunderland seek Aquilani

There are reports Liverpool could send unsettled Alberto Aquilani to Sunderland for £14m after his move to Juventus fell through.

The Italy international said several times he wanted to remain in Serie A, but the Bianconeri did not take up their option after a season there on loan.

It’s now reported Sunderland are willing to pay £14m to take Aquilani off Liverpool’s hands.

The Black Cats are said to be in negotiations with the Anfield side, beating competition from Tottenham.

Aquilani showed in his season at Juve that he has recovered from the numerous injury problems that plagued the last few years at Roma and Liverpool.

dont know what the source is like.

Selling Aquilani may mean raul stays ......

Jaysus, Sunderland, that's a bit of a fall from grace but if we get a decent fee it's pretty simple I guess

Hendo has Xabi's number as well - interesting :D

Juventus more interested in Raul Meireles than Aquillani.

Can't see Aquillani going to Sunderland TBH
