His great enthusiasm about returning wont be about the football but more likely visiting payroll to set up the direct debit for his wages  :D

I have a good feeling about him......

Maybe Kenny has had his eye on him and realises he is the better payer out of him and Raul.

I wish him the best and that he contributes greatly to the success of the club in the coming season.

However, I personally don't think that he has what it takes to succeed in the premiership though I pray that in this instance, I'm wrong.

Would have preferred if we had moved him on and replaced him with more quality out wide.

Better Aquilani coming back then buying an English replacement for that Alonso position for twice the price when we need wingers, a left back, a center back & possibly another backup striker.

If he has a good season his price will go up anyway, which is possible given the right manager  :;):

Most likely he is coming back because Juve don't want to pay big money for him. And he doesn't want to burn his bridges so what else can he say? Of course he has to say he is looking forward to coming back to us. But having said that, I do hope Kenny gives him a fair chance and manages to bring the best out of him. I don't think we quite saw the best of him. Just about all of us would have given up on Meireles earlier last season. But Kenny managed to get the bets out of him so let's see if he can do the same with Aquaman

Personally I'm made up he's coming back. What I saw of him when he came back from injury pointed towards why Rafa paid all that money for him even though he was injured when we bought him. And I kinda agree with what Roberto said, Kenny obviously wanted him back.

Notice in one picture he has number 36, not sure whether that means anything, could easily have given him a much lower one.
