I know they will have more upheaval to come in the summer than us.Saying that I wouldn't be surprised to see him go back to spain in the summer.

they have a massive job on IMO. They need to get to the root of whatever problem they have (personally I think its Roman so it can't be fixed). If they don't invest more in the squad its only going backwards. They need creativity and genuine width in the side - maybe a striker! hahaha

I'm chuffed we've got Kenny Roberto, someone we know we can trust and the owners trust as well. We've got the stability, we just need the squad now, four or five players and I honestly think we're good to go

That's why Chelsea and city will never amount to nothing, cos if you just throw mindless money at players who don't have the mentality or personality to perform (i.e Torres, Ballotelli, Dzeko, Ramieres) your never going to see results,

you need a good structure at the club starting from the very top and a manager that can get the best from the players and also a good core of British players in the club cos they understand what it means to play for the club.

yep, my mate yesterday was saying who we could have spent the £35m on instead of Carroll - he's a Newcastle fan who absolutely despises him now. Some of the names he mentioned were mad, Defoe, Fabiano, Aguero, Forlan - IMO none of them are ideal - well Aguero might be but that's a big risk and we weren't exactly going to nab him in January deadline day...

It's not about mindlessly throwing money around, you need to sign the right player, not the best one. It all depends on what you need. Chelsea didnt need a Torres type player and now they're suffering trying to find a way for it to work

In Carroll and Suarez we have an absolutely promising partnership in the making, I loved seeing them celebrating the goals together last night
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Im not. Did he feel sorry for any Liverpool supporter who idolised him when decided to up and leave for Chelsea?

Of course he didnt, sod him, he has made his bed and now he has to lie in it.

FT is a broken man, no more effective than Eggnog.

It's true.  You can see it in him.  You watch him play and you can see how upset he is, like he's always realizing he's made the biggest mistake of his life.  I do somewhat feel sorry for him, but at the same time I'm glad he's having to go through this, having to suffer like we have.

Someday he will admit his mistake, and hopefully apologize for it at the same time.  If he does, then I will gain that little bit of respect back for him.  Until then, I hope he never scores a goal again.    :glare:

I think he’s also realised he’s lost a yard of pace too. I mean, he couldn’t even out run Rio Ferdinand last night.

I got no sympathy for him. He was loved by the fans and he turned is back on them and the club because he couldn't be patient for a few years. He showed the fans no respect when parting so I don't know why some are feeling sorry for him.

It's called karma and it's a bitc.h. :D

BREAKING NEWS:- Ceasefire in Lybia as the UN send in Fernando Torres - No shots reported so far.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

Torres & Heather Mills. One's a one footed, lying, deceiving blonde ba$tard who'll do anything 4 money. The other was married to Paul McCartney. :D
