He did Bob, and it wasn't even 50/50, it was more like him nudging the ball off the Napoli player... credit for that goal should go to him despite Gerrard's exquisite finish...

doesn't matter... we have enough to worry about with Anelka and Drogba at their destructive best...

Gerrard clearly thought so as well. He acknowledged LL straight away after scoring. Good signs.

i'm wondering how much longer some people are going to deny that he's becoming a very good and important player for us. he was outstanding at times in the chelsea game today, alonso-esque at moments even. i'm made up for him.

I'm convinced this year we will see him coming out of his shell and blossoming into a top premiership CM. He's been class this season overall.

Played out of his skin today. In fact so much out of his skin I don't think it was him. I have been informed that we brought back Masch for today and he was playing dressed as Lucas.

I'd love to hear a song for Lucas at anfield, or a banner maybe? This lad deserves something he's taken so much sh!t from the fans and Roy even tried to sit the lad on the bench in favor of Poulson and he's just kept on going slowly improving bit by bit and look at him now! Shoulda believed all the praise Rafa had given him in the past but I was always unsure of what he would become. The boy is class and I hope he's here for a long time, we gotta show our appreciation for him somehow imo.
