This is of course very nice to hear, but he still needs to be much more consistent with his good performances imo. Even more focus than before will be on him now that Masch is no longer here, and hopefully he can use this in a positive way and start taking more control of games instead of letting them pass him by (the games as well as the opponents that is).

Been our most consistant player this season imo.

He might have mate, but in all fairness that still isn't saying too much given how rather rubbish we've been on most occasions so far. Don't get me wrong I am in no way slating Lucas, just stating that I hope he takes a step up this season, in which the chance is definitely there for him to do so.

but he is cementing a spot in Brazils teams now and has only improved. Still young, wait a while or for a higher bid before selling him.Keris wrote:Stoke to revive £4m Lucas bid in the New Year
Tony Pulis has launched a £4m bid to sign Liverpool midfielder Lucas in the New Year.
Stoke boss Pulis is ready to move for the Brazil international and offer him a fresh start at the Britannia Stadium.
Lucas nearly joined the Potters in the summer on transfer deadline day but Roy Hodgson scrapped the deal hours before 6pm.
But Pulis will step up his attempts to land the 23-year-old in January as he bids to boost his midfield.
Lucas has played the last six games for Liverpool but could be allowed to leave if Hodgson needs to raise funds.
