Agreed 100%

It's impossible to imagine the unbelievable pressure that Hodgson must be under at this moment in time.

However, I'll stand by what I said about Roy before he signed. I still cannot see him working out at Liverpool. That said, it would be a ridiculous move to have him sacked after the paltry amount of games the team has played.

ye i know what ur saying but roy has brought it on himself. He has totally fecked up the midfield. He didnt need anyone there. Gerrard with lucas  aqua in the hole and joe cole left and dirk right. All he had to do was get a striker.

What the hell would have been the sense in getting yet another "striker"? It was important to get the correct striker and perhaps it wasn't possible within the time frame. Simply buying another face could lead to another Kuyt, Babel, Maxi, Aquilani or N'Gog. We have enough of that sort already.

Buying anything to fill a position is not the way to go. We've seen too much of that nonsense under the last guy.

I'd have loved to see another quality striker at Liverpool, but there are probably valid reasons why it didn't happen this time around. Maybe the Christmas window will reveal some decent opportunities.

And yes, Hodgson has brought SOME measure of fault upon himself with some questionable uses of the squad. However, he's only been here a wet weekend. We're not even out of the "adjustment phase" yet.

To be honest Im disappointed in Kenny. Has he backed the manager since the Blackpool game?
He should come out and tell the fans not to cheer him but to get behind the current manager.
Apologies if he has done this.

I was always against Klinsmann in the past but i saw a doc about the development of the Germany Team by changing the info structure of the German game to focus on young players and even though Loew gets lots of Credit he himself accounts a lot of it to Klinsmann.

When you look at what John Henry did for the Redsox by bringing in a young forward thining manager like Theo Epstein, i believe Klinsmann may be a better fit for us.

Tis very true Rushie, but I fear Klinnsmanns (admittedly fairly innocent) role as a stooge in the Benitez "shock horror how dare the club consider somebody else when the manager keeps saying he might leave" affair has tarnished him forever.

Were he to be given the job, he would be given about the same amount of respect as Roy was/is. That can't be in anyones best interests.

Mick if you could just drop the anti Rafa :censored: for 5 minutes you might get a bit more of the unity behind our current manager that you keep saying there should be.

I know others bring him up as well but just be the bigger man and drop it ffs!

Drop what mate  I'm simply making the point that Klinsmann wouldn't be given five minutes chance by a huge section of our fan base, and stating why.

They don't forget such things in a hurry  .
