Lets be serious here.
Who is out there who can turn this thing around, inspire good players, get rid of the dross, change the attitude and get us up the table?
Dont for one second say martin o' Fu*king neill please. Or Kenny Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle, sven goran erickson, gary megson, steve mclaren, fabio capello or any other ridiculous suggestion
Real, viable, credible options please?

I'm very serious - also I asked the same question during the summer when people wanted Rafa to go - there were no credible replacements yet people where talking as is Maureen and Co would walk across hot coals to manage us - they were wrong . Getting rid of Rafa and replacing him with Hodgson was a monumental mistake and we are currently witnessing the repercussions of that mistake . You only replace a manager if you can improve .

Good point
But we are going over the same ground here. I have said that Roy needs to sort it (if he can) asap. If not, he goes. Benitez would not have improved on last year and possibly would have taken us down to where we are now. If not this low, near as dammit.
Best he went. Lets leave it as that and move on.

Sorry but there is nothing to ever point to us being this low if Rafa had stayed . Nothing .

Im not arguing and I wish youd stop winding GYBS.
You loved Benitez, we all know. You dont like Roy and dont think he was good enough. We know. Benitez is not coming back (hopefully) we need to move on. Put the matches away because we are all in a bad mood and dont need to be constantly reminded of your foolish wishes.
Thanks

sorry Thommo but right now if you had to choose between Rafa or Roy are you honestly saying you'd say Roy

Benny's right when he says there's nothing to say we'd be here if Rafa had stayed. I hear it all the time from some of my workmates and I say the exact same thing in response. This is the lowest this football club has been in over 40 years (Im talking about being in the relegation zone). Thats a fact
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Exactly Greavsie - yes last season was a low point for Rafa but I would take that in a flash right now . I would like to know exactly what improvement has been made since we changed managers . Can someone point out a positive for me

I would not have Benitez back. Truth.
I had zero confidence in him and was convinced we would never win the league while he was in charge. I was appalled at how much we had declined in terms of achievement and attitude and I am glad he went. I wanted him to succeed but it wasnt to be, for many reasons.
I dont know if Roy is the one to pull us out of the sh'it. I have to say on current form he isnt. But that could change next week. Or not. Its up in the air (or down in the dumps) at the minute and Im not in the slightest bit happy. But I know that I also wouldnt be happy if Benitez had stayed.
