It doesn't really matter who the manager is, if the fans don't properly back him then he will have extreme difficulties making a success of it. Calling for the managers head after a few matches is the sort of support which yo-yo teams are made of.

If this takeover goes through next week as we all hope he has to get another ten games to see if the cloud really has lifted and the players respond to it, even if we do go into administration God forbid. If the results and awful football continue however the new guys arnt really going to be left with much option bar letting him go and getting there own man in. Lets be honest though, if come Christmas we are bottom of the table because of a points deduction and poor form we arnt going to be looking a manager who is going to play pretty football, we'll need one who will get the players fighting and clawing out results, A motivator rather than a philosopher, graft over style, ugly over pretty. You know, play like Everton :D

listen the squad was shi!te before roy come. Rafas fault. But roy had a bit of money and had the chance to buy a couple of players but in my opinion fecked it up totally so he deserves the flak he gets.

I agree with that Loew shout , Good young manager him who gets his teams playing lovely football. You only have to look at the way he set his german side up, completly different from previous german managers . he likes to play the passing game, lovely to watch. id deffo me happy with him,

And this dosnt matter who the manager is as it will be difficult if the fans dont back him, If and when Roy goes i am certaily as many thousands others are expecting a big improvement on Roy . And as soon as we get new owners i also think they will be looking for a top top quality manager . So i should imagine a top top quality manager will be backed by all so i see no problems there , Do people honestly think that if someone like Hiddink. Lippi, Van Gael. Rikkard would not of been on an upper ,

I would have liked either Loew or Deschamps Nan.....both know their stuff and have what it takes.....

Its the sort of support we used to mock other teams for.

For me when all is said and done, and everything settles down, and we are back to concentrating on football. The one thing we will never ever get back is that what made Liverpool supporters the best. The most knowledgeable, the wittiest, the cleverest, the most patient.

No, thats gone. We are simply fans now.

And we still our the funniest, whittiest and knowledgable, Kaharhaz and id throw the most passoinate in there an all with what we have done in driving them two out and not giving them a minutes peace,no other fans in the world could and would have done what we have, but what we are not is stupid and what we wont accept is mediocre.

What should be/what you want and what we get are two different things.

After what we have suffered with Hicks and Gillett. I would welcome any change. I put that comment as simply the attitude stinks. When the news came in that the Red Sox bid doo dah came in, we had the attitude of "its not enough", "I hope this goes the way of the DIC bid and fails at the last minute".

It makes me sick. It really does. At the time I read those comments I asked so do we want yanks out or not? all this campaigning to get rid of hicks and gillette and when an opportunity comes up to get rid, its still not enough. So their is my reason in explaining why we are not the best. Even now, the constant posting of negative press reports to p!ss on everyones parade.

Here is my impression of us as supporters, arrogant.

Just read through all the topics on here, that sums us up totally. We have no right to be.
