Then as Roy walks off the pitch his coat should be handed to him ,

But then you have the problem of Purslow and Broughton who appointed him, theyd be fu.cking sick to lose face i mean these two who know so much about football and who is the right manager for this club .

So yeh this superduper clique wrist slasher didnt want Him at start and after what ive seen so far dont want him now. HES NOT FU.CKING GOOD ENOUGH FACT

Roy has been left with a club that has been pulled apart by Rafa, most of the p[layers should not be at the club.

FACT!

Absolute fking bollock.s Lakes.

The team Rafa left Roy was a top 6/top 5 team. A team capable of more with the right balance as we saw in Rafa's penultimate season.

Roy has made several of his own additions to the team. Yes Rafa underacheived that season but what do you call what is happening now? Were we ever in the relegation zone udner Roy? It's his responsability now and he has to take the blame.

Because he is English he becomes the teflon don and can't shoulder any blame? Fk that mate we have gone backwards under Roy and some here are having trouble admitting it.

top 5 6 team? did u see us last season? Half the team were about to leave when Rafa left.

Can we be serious?

Rafa had to go... you all need to admit that

and we'll admit that roy probably aint the right choice, but he hasnt been given a chance by most of the 'fans'

bav, fans like you just want a 300 million kitty and everything laid out on a plate, footballs changed mate. The real fans will be seen over the comnig months with how they present themselves. whilst Roy is here, he needs support, and he needs to sort  it out. Stevie needs to do his part, as do the rest of the team. He hasnt been there long enough to take all the blame unlike other managers... but... i just dont know how many different ways to say it

I'm in the sack him camp as i don't want the season to do down the drain. By the time we played the next two games, we had played a quarter of the season. And say if we are on par of getting a point a game, then we will have 9points. I don't know how many points are needed to get into top 7 but i'm guessing 70 something points will do. This mean we have to make up 61points in the next 29 games. That's like we need to get 2.1 points per game on average. Not likely. If we put this into wins, we need 20 victories and a tie to get there. ANyone is confident with Roy in charge that we can go 20-1-and 8? It will be too late even now. But at least we will have some time for a new manager to settle down right away. For someone like Kenny, i believe if the players are giving the freedom, they should do fine. You don't just forgot how to play suddenly. If the players are backing Roy, why wasn't there any fire or effort from the squad? They don't respect Roy as he is just too nice a guy. So, I will sack him but not because of Roy as a bad person, just not what we needed.

Dawson, please don't use words like "for the real fans etc'. What makes you a real fan and we are not? Hypothetically, we now support Roy. Then he keeps insisting the same tactics, where will that take us. We care and hope the club will  move towards the right direction and how does that make us wrong. Anyway, I know you will not get it and don't think argument who is real fans just doesn't help. Just need solutions.

I was very critical last season you are wrong dawson, the reason i didnt want him to leave was because I knew someone like Roy would come in and make things worse, and its happened.

Rafa wasnt on the pitch yesterday, Roys had 17 games in charge now, no one can blame Rafa.

Gerrard, Carra, Johnson, Torres, Reina, Ngog, The Greek & Skrtel where all the Rafa players on the pitch yesterday you cant say they are all bad players.

Poulson, Cole, Jovanovich, Raul, where all on that pitch yesterday and 4 of them where Roys buys and this team is playing with Roys tactics he threw the greek upfront ffs Liverpool do not play with them tactics Dawson im sorry mate but they dont. You nor anyone else can blame Rafa for that.

we'll agree to disagree hun, im not getting into more arguaments... we see it differently, which is fair enough, but you are tops as you say things the right way, dignified unlike some others.

We just need to sort it out

This is a pointless thread.  Who the fu.ck would take this job right now.  It's no win.

Possibly Dalglish would take it out of sheer blind love for the club, but he too would end up regretting it because until the club gets taken over there will never be calm behind the scenes and the mentality on the pitch won't be right.

Forget about the likes of O'Neill taking it.  Any manager who values their reputation wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I think O Neil would gladly take it.  And although ive always despised him... i think he would do a lot better than Roy.

He certainly is no yes man.  And although he doesn't play nice footy, at least we might not be getting embarrased every week.

i had a pompey fan approach me this morning and he said "all joking aside, whats the matter with Liverpool".  He didn't even slag us off... just felt sorry for us.
