Surely we (the club) have the right to say "Fook off !" to Rafa and the thievin' pikeys from Inter ?

I read something where Rafa is saying he doesn't make transfers. As I understand it from a LFC fan who is also a bit of an Italian fan, the manager says what type of player he wants and the bloke whose name and role escape me right now goes out and buys someone.

So why would the player be KUYT or Mascherano unless Rafa said "well I want a Dutch player, used to play striker but performs now on the right, experienced and likes the number 18" or "I like Argentinians, a defensive minded midfielder and ball winner extraordinaire please" then it's funny how the two players should both play for Liverpool FC when Inter have shown not the slightest interest in either in SIX YEARS previous..............................

Coincidence? Pull the other one Rafa, it's got bells on!

re Woy doing the same. Fulham shouldn't take offence or read too much into it, Woy wants players into the last 7-10 years of their career and other options were too damned young while Fulham's squad is quite the retirement village of football. Or put another way, Woy is an antique dealer and they tend to go to antiques shops.....................................

Not that I had one, cheeky cunt, their players may not be in their late 30s but they are all ideal targets for Woy given his preference (it seems) for 28+ year olds

Schwarzer - nearly 38
Konchesky - 29
Pantsil - 29
Hangeland - 29
Davies - nearly 31
Zamora - 29
Johnson - 29
Zuberbuhler - 39
Murphy - 33
Kamara - nearly 30
Duff - 31
Gera - 31
Hughes - 30

So I'm being somewhat facetious re "retirement", but obviously that passed right over your head. Since half the fans on this planet think 30+ is "past it", I was not trying to be pinpoint factual by suggesting they are all nearing retirement. Some could, they don't have to play until they're 37-40, but I bet I was more aware of the players ages at Fulham than you..................................

Liverpool have agreed a transfer fee with Barcelona for Javier Mascherano, who asked to leave Anfield last month.
"The Spanish club have now been given permission to speak to the Argentina midfielder," said the club website.
The Reds were keen to recoup the £18m they paid three and-a-half years ago, after Mascherano joined from West Ham.
Mascherano missed Thursday's trip to Trabzonspor, where Liverpool secured a place in the group stages of the Europa League with a 3-1 aggregate win.
More to follow.

Good riddance to bad influences. Let's hope Roy gets to spend the money on someone who wants to play for us

Is that it? No hint even of a fee?

Gives Woy only a few days to raid the pensioners of Fulham! What odds we end up with Cole/Zamora, Konchesky and maybe even make a cheeky bid for Scholes?

The fee is believed to be around £13M initially rising to a potential £18M million.  :no

EDIT: sorry it's £16M initially rising to a potential £22M million. Still too low imo.

This means we only have £16M to spend on a LB, CM and striker. :(
