I feel a little sorry for Jon, as I honestly thought he was on the verge of breaking through at one point last season. He looks to be pretty versatile in the same way that Carra and Josemi are, and hopefully he'll catch the eye while he's away. I find it hard to believe that his future lies at another club - he's definitely good enough for make it in the Prem, and I just hope that he does it with us.

i wouldn't agree with stu at all, he played well for us last season and mysteriously houllier didnt play him again, so i dont c how u can say he was woeful

I'm slightly gutted that he's gone out on loan as for the few games he played last year he looked like he was gonna be a regular, hopefully he can get back in favour with Rafa and play a few games.
