Deadline should've been this Friday. How're we suppose to get a player in within a day. It leaves us with little negotiation time.

Delaying tactics from potential buyers doesn't help us, they'll get their man at the eleventh hour and we'll have no time to line up a replacement - unless Woy sets something up based on the subsequent sale.

It's all very well hanging on for £25m or whatever, the bottom line is by prolonging the whole process the potential buyers are always gaining day by day. The player doesn't like it and wants to move, the buying club know they have until the end of this month and all we're doing is digging in and losing the player in mind if not in body.

Draw a line under it, say "we want £Xm and until you offer that then feck off or we'll report you". All they're doing is unsettling the player if their offer is nowhere near the asking price, while it may not be "tapping up", surely it's about time the FA or UEFA stepped in and said something. Anything more than two weeks negotiating and state they have to buy the player at the original stated asking price or pay compensation and a league points penalty.

That way clubs will be put off "haggling", at the end of the day you walk in most shops and something is for sale for £1.99 then that is what you pay, you don't stand there for two or three hours arguing the toss with the shop assistant.

i heard the bbc report that roy has been told he can use any money from the sale to buy players so i hope the sale in done very soon.

Inter now interestes? thats good cos Rafa valued Masch at £50 million or summat so cough up big shots.

Roy will have sourced a striker and a replacement CM by the time Sunday comes along. Will be a case of signing the paper work.

listen i said in a previous post that inter would wait till the last couple of days then bid for mash. So in way barca have done us a favour because im quite sure inter wouldnt of bid so much even though 20million is still short but if they offer 15 for kuyt thats 35million just take it and buy left back cm and striker.

there is no official news on the offer yet. One article says it's 20M, other says it's 12M + Muntari.
