100% what Benny Weetabix said, the glaring thing here is that people still look to drag up those disagreements at every opportunity, and its just a continuation of the Pro/Anti infighting thats been going on on this site for far to long. I hate seeing Benitez get blamed for things that in my eyes were out of his control, but at the same time I think its idiotic to label Hodgson as not good enough without giving the guy a fair crack of the whip. Its a myth that you need a glorious CV to be a success in a coaching role, Jesus just look at King Kenny in 86 or Fabio Capello World Cup debacle, you need a fresh approach, a good core group of players, a sizeable transfer budget, a large chunk of good fortune and unison between management, players, board and fans. Honestly how many of these things do LFC currently have? FFS The fans on here cant even go 20mins without taking shots at each other. All Im asking is that a few of you respect the fact that other fans dont share your opinions, rather than taking every opportunity to try and shoot them down or tell them "I told you so." Please, if you really have to have a go do it in PMs, no more littering threads with the same tired old points. I understand if you think that people may be "picking on you" but believe me that works both ways and Im sure others feel you are singling them out also. Lets move on.

Now with that out of the way why dont you take a look at this adorable turtle:

Some on here will not let the Rafa sized chip on their shoulder go. He's gone and he's not coming back. Time to move on

And yet you make sure we keep going round in circles as well, mate.  How many snidey remarks did you lob into the match thread last night? ??? "Support the club or feck off" and calling someone a tw.at for not backing Roy doesn't strike me as a particularly constructive contribution to the discussion.  Look, just as Rafa had his critics, there will be those who disagree with Roy.  That's their business as long as they're not abusive about it.  Shouting down/winding up those you disagree with will not make this place a better forum for discussion.  By all means take issue with their conclusions if you wish but leave the superfan posturing out of it.

As been said by numerous people - the posters that keep mentioning our previous manager are the ones that slated him and wanted him gone - he has gone so no need to keep slating him.

If you look in the match thread the 'others' mentioned him as well to try and dig the new manager with. It's not all one way traffic. I suggest you do as Bob says and put a few people of ignore Heimdall BtN.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

I was actually there last night and watched it happen and it all started when Ciggy arrived and said Hodgson wasn't good enough to be our manager and up popped 7 Kewell and started going on about our previous manager and it went downhill from there .

Brilliant, only dead and disconnected have seen end of Internet wars  :D

It's amazing isn't it? Suddenly there are anti's telling people to support the manager and telling people they're not real fans whereas the pro's are defending their right to have an opinion criticise the manager.

It's like a parallel universe where Ace Rimmer is actually a stud.  :D
