Real Madrid bought Ozil

i know, but he publicly said he accepted the club's position. He can go, but we need a fee we deem to be acceptable. This isn't helping LFC on or off the pitch.

Barcelona has a new chairman. The former one was a mad cúnt, and the new one is even more cúnt. Reaching agreements with the player before the club eh? you know how to make friends Barcelona.

So far the club (Hodgson, Purslow or someone) has shown to be firm in our position asking for 25M. Barcelona is ready to pay 15M + add ons depending objectives, which is simply not good enough.

Liverpool should play hard this one: Ibrahimovic is about to move to Milan and with that money in the pocket we can get what we want. We must keep the price no matter what and no matter where has Javier his head right now.

Fed up of Barcelona, I preffer them when they're in crisis.

We will end up settling for less.  There is no way the club will keep a player who refuses to play.

Exactly.

So Mascherano has the head in Barcelona?

Very well, he doesn't play. But the fact he already has reached an agreement with Barcelona is a weapon we have to use: We can wait until Barcelona sells their Ibrahimovic, and we know Barcelona will have to keep the word in the agreement they have reached with Mascherano.

So we can afford to wait. We can use their dirty signing tactics against them. Now they have reached an agreement with Mascherano, we can be clever (annoying for Mascherano and Barcelona for sure, but clever) and get extra money for him.

It's the least we can do because we paid good money for him when he was nobody.

If Masch is to set foot in Liverpool again, I think he'll need a lot of security around him.

Unless Barca are really stupid they made sure their agreement is only valid if liverpool sells him.

Yes, but if they offer 15, and you ask 25 if you refuse to accept they cannot simply withdraw, they have an agreement with Mascherano and they know he would be well annoyed if they give up with no extra offer.

If they withdraw, we have an annoyed Mascherano, but annoyed especially with Barcelona. Once they sell Ibrahimovic to Milan they can't say they don't have cash either. I think Hodgson or Liverpool are playing right the cards. Don't use Mascherano, but refuse to sell at 15M.

The problem with waiting is that the clock is ticking, we need to start making moves or we will be short a CM and left with a very subpar midfield.

He really f.ucked us over tonight by refusing to play.

Totally unproffesional. After last week's performance i thought he was going to leave with dignity but not now :(
