I must be honest, so do I. Once the dust settles, I think he'll still be our player. Whether or not that's because nobody has stumped up enough money to buy him this time, or he actually really wants to play for us though, I'm not sure.

Me too, I just can't see him at another English club, I really can't. Barcelona maybe, but I'm guessing they don't have the money after buying Villa and Ibrahimovic already in place for silly money.

Torres (for my mind) is a very loyal guy, the fans adore him and he loves them back I think. And he is also not-so-secretly in love with Steven Gerrard! I just don't see him leaving for Chelsea or City unless the club have made it clear they want/need to sell him.

IF nando does go to Chelsea (and I personally do not think he's going anywhere) then to hand our best striker on a plate to the league champions just shows you how desparate we must be for wanga.

Dear Liverpool supporters,

I would like to say goodbye and thank you for the opportunity to play in this fantastic club. I would like to thank the fans for their support; you're unbelievable. I would also like to thank the staff and my team mates.

I would like to wish the club all the best for the new season, I can see there's a lot of changes taking place and its like a breath of fresh air into the club. I think the club will have a very positive future.

I want the fans to remember me as a player who tried to give his best. My first year here was one of the best seasons and the closest the club have come to winning the Premier League.

Last season was a season for everyone to forget in all ways, which can happen to any club. In football it's important to look forward and forget the past.

I felt it was time for a change and I'm looking forward now to the new challenges which lie ahead.

paddys have suspended betting (same as they did with joe cole) skybet have gone from 2s to 1/3, and on betfair its changing as well...

the one thing about the betting is that if he stays at Liverpool bets would be void as they not included... but still... f*cking Purslow

remember the night we played Real Madrid , our previous manager was gone , book closed, remember they closed the book on Gerrard ,came back from his holidays soon as he got to melwood spoke to Roy ,everything was rubbish, im just keeping me fingers crossed that when Fernando comes back round 5th August hes gonna talk to Roy and same will happen, I still honestly dont think he wants to go , Different matter altogether if they wanna cash in on him, The leveraged buy out merchants will make there first major asset strip,
