Taxi for Torres - judas fecks off to chelsea

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby sgs » Mon Jul 26, 2010 8:48 pm

Seems Torres has brought everyone down to earth; to the fact none of the fundamental problems of the club have been addressed, and which no one signing, however pleasing, can address...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

I don't mind saying I'd be disappointed in him if he went to Chelsea (back to Spain, not as bad, but still, what's one more season out of loyalty for what was essentially an injury write-off in the last?)

I was going to say that perhaps it might be Gerrard that would make Torres stay.. but this Chelsea thing is a worry...

Oh sh!t

I will actually cry if he goes to Chelsea  and I bet you any money that if we do sell him quite cheep it will be because of Broughton.

There is no truth in whatever rumour's going round about Torres. He's on holiday and has made no decision about his future. #LFC

Well.. If anything with the rumors picking up at such a pace I'd now expect him to make a statement about his future sooner rather than later...
I expect him to stay and I'm sure we'll hear much more from the board about this tomorrow with the press conference and all that...
Cant say im not worried, but I just dont think the market is right atm for him to be making a move..

I wouldn't be surprised if it was some bitters spreading the rumours just trying to unnerve us.

If we can't hold on to him... It won't be Rafa's fault... It won't be Hodgson's fault... It certainly won't be Broughton's fault despite what the conspiracy theorists would love to tell you... And it won't even be Purslow's fault.

It will be the fault of the owners who didn't even invest a cent of their own money to sign Torres in the first place... They just loaded the club with debt in a way that was totally unsustainable.
