The sooner we start playing English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish players the better.

For the level of loyalty and pride we expect, we have to bring in 'locals'.

Well it's going to be Inter Milan probably and I can think of a few. Balotelli springs to mind, Cambiasso even

Cambiasso would be excellent with cash or Sneider, either or both would be an excellent deal, don't know what value Inter have on either thou

Doubt they would let Sneider go after the season he has had.... but have to agree with Reg we need to make moreof an effort for British players. Im sick of all these foregin players wussying out after a few years and wanting away.

you cannot beat home grown players for loyalty and understanding of the game and clubs history etc.. problem is you seem to have to pay way over the odds for home grown talent and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot out there at the moment

From what I hear Wilson will turn out to be a good signing, maybe Shevely too... But as you say they are over priced and we just can't afford that. We couldn't even afford 5mil for Jack Wilshire.

But players of his ilk and he is the best in his position , are a  rarety, we must try and keep him, as Torres and Gerrard, these players are irreplaceable..

That's besides the point Zara. Im sure everyone here would like nothing more than for him to want to stay but that just isn't the case. No one is doubting his ability as a player but the fact is his heart hasn't been here for over a year now so on that basis that's probably why people have had enough of his moaning.

His mercenary of an agent Kia 'The Iranian Pirate' Joraaibchin spends so long negotiating these contracts for his players and then a year into it just because his missus can't stand the English weather he wants to move away? Id like nothing more than to let his contract run down so he can sulk through his best years here but we need the money so you can imagine why peoples patience has worn to nothing.

Players have no respect for clubs these days which is why contracts are not worth the paper they are printed on. Is it any wonder then why some would rather ship him out now.

I'd say he's been one of our most dedicated performers over the years, rarely gives less than 100%. The problem is the club doesn't appear to be going anywhere fast and the sooner we get back on track the easier it'll be for us to keep hold of players like him. After a season like last and without a manager or any positive sense of direction, and with the moves potentially open to him - Barca, Inter - it's no wonder if he's considering leaving the club. My only hope is that if he does leave, the new manager is allowed to spend all of the money generated on signing new players.

We all knew that there was a high probability he was going to move on this summer regardless of who the manager was or who the owners were. He has openly stated that his family isn't happy in England. As long as we get a good fee it's not a major problem as there are plenty of good holding midfielders out there that are far cheaper.

He is a good player and all but I really dislike this man.Unloyal, doesnt care about the team, he only looks for the money.A bad liar as well."I am verry unhappy in England" my :censored:.I wonder, if we won the CL or something, would he still hate England?Maybu he would have costed us a few more pounds, maybu then he would have started to like the club and England.Maybu his wife would have started to learn english as well.

Doesnt he already have an Italian passport, im sure his granfather or someone was Italian. or he has Italian national status , could be wrong like, He could be linking up again with his mate an all Tevez. From what i can gather Rafa tried to bring him to Anfield but no money and now he wants to take him from City to Inter. to team them up with the other Argies there ,
