And what about the USAs chances Bav.

As i said its only the first game but I thought England were very poor. America are nothing special and England looked like a load of individual footballers - not a team.

Capello has a bit to answer for, why did he not bring on Cole for Milner, SWP was dreadful

The problem is all these continental managers like to play with some giant up front to hold the ball up. It wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't so poor at actually shooting. Can't beleive he scored 20 something in his first season for us.

Anyway Algeria and Slovenia are :censored:

. We should still top the group.

I have to say I was thinking the same and was surprised to see all experts stating we did well. We should really have ripped these guys apart.

The only thing I can't account for is the altitude.

I don't think we created a lot of chances, we were hit and hope and barely used Rooney.

joe cole should have been in the starting XI, and then he should have replaced Milner. all SWP seems able to do is to run, and then he misses the ball..

at least we got 1 point, that's better that none

Did Milner take a knock or was he taken off purley to not get sent off? I think had we not had to sub King he might have brought on Cole at somepoint.

On that point anyone else think it was a :censored:

waste of time even including King in the 23 man squad? Tenner here that he doesn't play at all now during the duration of the tournament. Why take someone who can't play at 100%? Honestly at times it's like they are looking to make it harder for themselves.

Yer man Green's a puddin. I don't know why everyone is banging on about this so called great save he pulled off, because he was f*cking lucky and the post saved him from another absolute howler as he near palmed it into the net. A decent keeper would have got down to that and palmed it round his post instead of over his hand and onto it. If that goes in then no doubt he gets absolutely slaughtered again for another mistake.
