Give that boy a break. He's the best scoring machine since Ian Rush, what more do you expect? ???

He is a p#ss poor penalty taker.I won a fortune on bets on him missing penalties last season.Ian Rush never took penalties because he was cr#p at it too.

Murphy should be pen taker. Micheal is just sh##e, he wouldnt win the penalty shoot out tournament at a Alan Kennedy soccer school because he's that s##t at them.

Must give him some credit for him puttin the ball in second time round.

murphys a good penalty taker but he wouldn`t take the penalties if i was manager cause he wouldn`t be on the pitch.
i know one of the first things bill shankly did when he came was to remove the stadium clock, the logic behind this decision being the players should try their hardest whether its the first minute or last.
maybe we should bring it back for danny to remind him the game lasts for 90 minutes not 20.

When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

Owen has showed a distinct lack of interest in all 3 games this season, culminating in a worst player on the pitch award against Spurs. Please nobody come back with lack of service because you have to want the ball before anyone is going to give it to you.Baros lead the line virtually single-handed against Spurs with great back-up from Diouf,Smicer,Kewell and Gerrard.Owen lovers, watch him,see his body language, note his contribution and don't blame the other players.
