As far as im aware he did have the operation, and it was a success. o hopefully now he can just stay focused and get back with us for pre-season training next season when he can link up with all the fantastic players we have, well thats the hope anyways

it'll be good to see him back maybe it'll do to him what happened to Baros and Carra when they got injured last season e.g. they came back into form

I would much appreciate it if Liverpool give out more updates on how hes doing! We have heard next to nothing about his recovery.

How many weeks has it been now anyway, usually you're in cast for 8 - 10 weeks or so for a broken leg...it feels like hes been out for much longer than that.

i ain't heard any official news on how the op went.. but i've seen him a few times since in the woolton tesco.  He's actually walkin about ok so i take it the op was successful.
Plus seen him in his Escalade the other week so i think he's driving.. but he could have been the passenger.. not sure which side is the wheel is on.

I've never seen it happen. I just know it was during a match against Blackburn. I just started watching soccer like two months ago :p

Well do yourself a favour and earn a  little respect for the player by not watching it , its not nice. i was at the game and it gives me no pleasure to ses a player injured in such a way ???

Horriffic injury, worse still to see it actually happening to a person. Like Dalglish said, it does not give any pleasure to see this kind of injury happening to anybody, even Rooney.
