Do you expect him to make world class runs every time he gets the ball and put in 20 crosses a game?  Give the guy a break, he still hasn't played with a settled team yet.  BTW, I thought he did pretty good yesterday.

well aurelio spends most to time in the physio room , insua looks very dodgy defending and got a long way to go before he could be considered if ever,finnan is approaching age of retirement which would leave arbeloa as a full back .

i cant believe dossena is getting dissed by people after 90 mins of friendly football in a new team - thats pretty pathetic really .

It is early days but on the (admittedly) little we've seen of him he's hardly impressed , looked a bit all over the place to me. Hopefully it is purely a case of needing time to gel with his team mates.

One of the match commentators said something that caused me concern

"Dossena's had 5 red cards in the last two seasons, two of them in four weeks " 

Makes you wonder just what we've signed. Personally I'm hoping Aurelio can stay injury free and gets a proper run in the side.

I like him good feeling about him that goal line save he did any keeper would be happy with.

When was last time Liverpool had some one that can do that, most of time our defenders in those positions score own goals,  not make goal line saves.

As for him getting out of position in game he is meant to he attacking full back he has to take risks,  but if you seen game you notice that rafa asked midfielders to cover when he did this so its ok.

All he needs is 10-15 games to get used to pace over here and he be fine.
