west ham united v LIVERPOOL Mon 4th Feb 8.00pm KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

This game suits us far better than Leicester. Pellegrini sets his teams up to play higher up the pitch and pass through the opposition. That's ideal for us.

I'm going for a fairly comfortable 3-0 to us.

Seems like the rumours were wrong

Alisson

Milner
Matip
VVD
Robbo

Fabinho
Keita
Lallana

Mane
Bobby
Mo

Henderson and Gini picked up a slight knock today - if that midfield clicks there could be a different dimension

On paper , there is some serious attacking minded players / fire power in there.

I really hope Lallana is up for this one. Common lads lets blitz these clowns.

Wow. Interesting line-up. If we go 4-3-3 that's Fabinho in the 6, Keita as the 8, and Lallana as the 10 breaking to link with the front 3. All 3 in their best positions. Big opportunity for all 3, especially Lallana.

Lallana? Big call, although saying that Shaquiri didn't exactly cover himself in glory against Leicester either.

Lallana has got a chance here to show what he used to do. I really hope he has a good game because we need our lads on form in this critical stage.

I just hope he isn't shunted out wide. I'd like us to revert to 4-3-3 with Lallana playing the same role as 16/17 on the right hand side of the midfield and being given responsibility to link with the front 3. I hate watching him out wide it just doesn't suit his skillset.

Lallana should be looking at this as an opportunity to turn himself into a Liverpool legend, If he plays a starring role during the run in his contribution would be remembered forever. That should be his mind set. To paraphrase Gerard Houllier he is 14 games away from greatness.

I Assume West ham looking at our Lineup will try to bully our MF...If we stand tall remain aggressive we have a lot of fire power to crush them (they are pretty injured as well)...

I agree, he hasn't got the pace to play out wide.

Pretty unlucky with injuries at the minute, damn it, bad time for this. We've got enough to win this, fabinho is key, need a MOTM performance from him.

I know there's a third of the season to go, but these are the type of games that decide titles....

Man City and Spurs will be watching tonight, with hope that we will open the door and let them both back into the title race.  I really, really hope we turn up tonight and make a statement that we're top, and we won't be moved  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock

I'm going for 4-0 to the might reds
