Swansea V Liverpool - EPL - Sunday May 1st KO: 12pm

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Here is the pre match press conference......

Not the most of exciting games to look forward to and kicking off at midday seems to have annoyed JK, understandable

Mass changes on the cards, JK says as much in the press conference, Danny Ward to start again and most of the youngsters who played against Stoke and Bournemouth

YES - Villareal is by far the most important match for us next week, but we should still be going out to win these matches

Prediction... Swansea 0 - 2 Liverpool

I hate replying to my own original post, I know this isn't a particularly exciting match for us, but any team line up suggestions from anybody ??

We kick off at 12 lunchtime tomorrow  :nod

This game is the epitome of an end of season run out, in fact I'm surprised it's on the telly tbh, it has practically nothing riding on it.

wow mate, whilst I share in your opinion I am still surprised by your lack of optimism, you are forever the optomist here, go on, pick a team :)

I'm just making the point mate that with only 2 or 3 games to go it seems pointless showing 2 sides that have nothing really to play for. You'd think it would have made more sense for Sky to show the Newcastle or Sunderland game.
As for our team I'd go with something like this -

                                                         Ward

        Flanagan                      Caulker.               Ilorri.                     Smith

                                         Brannigan.           Stewart

                   Ojo.                             Firmino                                  Ibe

                                                      Benteke

I actually really like your team, would love to see Chirivella get a game in the CM position too

Funny enough mate I actually had Chivrella in there but changed him for Brannigan instead at the last minute

I feel it will be that team but Skertel in place of Caulker.
Firmino starting will mean Studge will be saved for the 2nd leg.

Roberto Firmino, Joe Allen, James Milner, Alberto Moreno and Kolo Toure have not travelled today, Daniel Sturridge has.

Also rumour has it Ojo will start

We have only named six substitutes as Connor Randall woke up feeling ill and had to be sent back home.

only 14 minutes played, you can tell we made 8 changes, very disjointed, ball being given away constantly

Skrtel instilling a sense of unease at the back
