Liverpool Football Club - Games

Not sure about the criticism, this is actually one of our best performances at OT in years, the lads are doing well, all we are lacking is a Coutinho type who can put his foot on the ball and pick out a pass, it's just the final ball which is letting us down.
P.S If we up the tempo second half a few more United players might have to go off.

Klopp probably doesn't want to risk another injury. TAA's been out for a while and the chances of him picking up a small muscle injury will be quite high.

Rashford looks like he's close to tears, I'd be amazed if he sees out the second half.

Hopefully Klopp is firing them up for a heavy metal second half.  I'm going for 3-0  to us :;):

Think Shaqiri and Keita could have a big part to play today if things get to the 70min and it's 0-0

Decent first half that was completely interrupted by bizarre injuries. I'm not sure I buy this Rashford injury. The other 3 were immediately removed, but he's not? He think he's probably feeling something small, but is trying to get us to switched off on him so he can sneak in on us. Every time he gets the ball in a dangerous position, he looks perfectly fine.
Gini, Fabinho, Matip all playing very well. We're playing from the wings too much, we just don't have the aerial danger to do anything with the dangerous balls we keep flipping in to nobody. I don't agree with Sturridge over Shaq in a game we needed to keep pressing, and for a player to be on the pitch for an hour. You could see our pressing in their half immediately die down when he come on for Firmino.
They're all over the place, and we're clearly the better team. We may want to test Rashford a bit to try and wear him down. I am worried about Milner going, so wouldn't mind seeing TAA come on for him a bit later. I'm sure their plan is going to be to attack Milner to pull out that second yellow- he can't seem to help himself when it comes to going in for a good tackle. He typically wins them, but all it takes is one mistake and we're down for the rest of the game.
We need to start wearing them down. If they press, let's move it and keep them chasing. Get one or two of the tired and they'll start to falter.
I may like to see Keita on to give us that attacking midfield piece we seem to be lacking, but I'm not sure who he'd replace.

Credit to Oliver as well. This is a tough game to ref, and I think he's done a very good job. Hasn't seemed to let the crowd get into his head, and he's been consistent.

No cohesion uptop, if we want to score we really need to link up better.

Think we've started to take hold of the game over the past 5 mins...would bring on Shaq and Keita in 10 mins though

We are very shot shy today, Mane should have had a go instead of try to pass inside
