Gegenpress is the only option afaic...caution will just breed nervousness. We’ll need to fight fire with fire.

Even if it means going back to the 4-2 or 4-3 nail-biting type win just for the day.. I'd rather we went out on our shield than have a tepid display that gives us a loss and probably derails our title chances and takes it out of our hands at the very least.

100% agree, go out on our shields is right. I felt we should have done the same against City when we had the chance to go 10 points clear as well. Klopp-ball allows us to become greater than the sum of our individual parts. Yes it's hard graft but the players have had 2 holidays in the last few weeks in Dubai and Spain. It's time to take the brakes off and have a real go.

I've supported the more conservative style we've played for the most part of this season, it got us to where we are right now after all, but full on heavy metal is the only way to go for this one. Go for all or nothing. A lot of people say a draw won't be the end of the world, but not for me, IMO it's a must win.

Winning is vital- the bigger  picture is what this game is all about- draw it and we have drawn 3 won 3 and lost one in the last seven.

That's a poor sequence  when you have City gaining momentum...(won 6, lost 1)and that's what we need from this game onward.

Our momentum back, period.

I don't know about you guys but I'm struggling to enjoy this title race. It is stressful when we are competing with a Juggernaut like City. Having to almost win every game is difficult to say the least. I can understand why our fans are nervy in matches. If we had a nice cushion i would probably be more relaxed. When City drop points it feels like a devine intervention. I remember in one matches how the crowd were celebrating when City lost and it was only friggin December.

IF we lose against Mannure i think City will win the title. I know it is premature because anything can happen however i just can't see them bottling it from there.

IF we win we must keep going because gaining 3 points at old twafford will be meaningless if we drop points against Everton.

Stressing already about this game...... Spoke to few "reasonable" mannure fans i know and they feel it could end up in a draw. They know the momentum they've got but understand they will be facing quality players.

Heard it on the radio that Ole wants Fergie to give the Pre-Match team talk   Desperation or what  :nod

It better not work though and we need to be fired up for this ourselves or they will walk all over us.

Tbh mate i think Fergie is already mentoring OGS. He has attended training a few times and i wouldn't be surprised if Fergie has guided OGS with tactics etc..

Lol  I'd crack up in the pre-match talk the mannure players don't even understand what Whiskey nose is saying.

I hate everything about them sh1thouses. Little fouls off the ball to stop momentum and counter attacks and they never seem to get booked for these blatant fouls.
Herrera is the worst!! He must have fouled Hazard 5 or 6 times when he was trying to create openings.

That kind of play frustrates teams.. they did the same to us last year with Ashley Young wrestling with Salah for 90 mins.

Pogba is the man on form so we should do what PSG did and man mark him and get him frustrated.

van Dijk to come back in at CB and Fabinho to replace Keita in midfield. Otherwise the same as the Bayern game.

I usually don’t have a good feeling about this fixture, but for some reason I feel at ease this time around.

Agree with the sentiments on here about the gegenpress and taking the game to the filth. If it’s a shoot-out we will come on top.

A lot on here saying if we lose that’s it for the title, I look at it the way around, once we win this one I can’t see City catching us with us this kind of momentum........
