We dominated, Stoke parked the bus but without Suarez we have zero creativity up front

Doesn't that make you wonder why Maxi and Bellamy were not started, smart quick players who could have got around Stokes lumbering defence!

Poor.

The tactics were too negative in the end, Kuyt alone up front was a mistake, and we lacked the craft to unlock Stoke's bus.

65% possession, yet we created almost nothing in their box.

But we had over 100 million to spend...
And we got Caroll, Downing and Henderson who have like 3 league goals between them....

I still can't understand why we didn't start with Bellamy. Why isn't Maxi in bench, maybe he is injured?

If we do not buy a striker and sharpish we can forget 4th completely...6/7th is the best we can hope for.

Bellamy - should NEVER be used as a sub . It's clear he just does nothing when he comes on, don't know why but he is just never the same as a sub... START him every game and we will be able to sub him at 60-70 mins as we will get the goals.

We dominate possession but the few times we manage to get the ball into the box we only have Kuyt in there. Where is our midfield? Maxi is the only midfield player we have that makes runs into the box to try and score, and yet he cant even get on the bench.

We set up to be a midtable team happy to get a point, and thats what we got.

Why?

Cause Kenny splashed out 50 million on Downing and Henderson= they play.

Doesnt he have problems with his knees so he cant play every match? I wonder why Kenny thought it was more important to have him play against oldham though.

Sorry lad it's all on Kenny ,not good enough. Poor lineup ,Late Subs ,Negative Tactics. He is more afraid of lossing then going for a win. This has been his tactics from the first moment ,Yes we have one of the best defence in the league but at the expense of offence.

Their is no way Kuyt gets the wave in before Bellami Sorry ,no way Carragher plays with Skertel and Coates against Stoke ,sorry no excuse for that ,no excuse for not shouting the lads to get into the box ,poor across the board.

I feel physically sick after watching that...a bag of nerves!

We didn't look like we were going to score....and we didn't!!

How did Kuyt miss both of those headers??

How did we not get a penalty when Huth got Carroll in a headlock and dragged him to the ground??

If we don't invest before the 31st January I will be amazed?

7 draws out of 11 at home..that's 14 dropped points!! Disgraceful!

Oh well onwards and upwards!
