Salah offside so still 3-0. City is raking up the goals...we need another one or two before the 90mins

Well that will do nicely , comfortable and a nice clean sheet. 7 out of 7 - best start for a long time

3-0 so it's the perfect six out of six. Southampton have it's first shot on target right at the injury time so that tells the story. On we go...

Perfect Start. 6/6 in the Prem.   Best start for 30 years, and dare I say we haven't reached our peak yet in terms of performance.

Wolves Held the Scum also, so a perfect Day all round.

How bad is the VVD injury?

This was an important game to win, given our fixtures this month it would have been easy for us to take our eye off the ball for this one. Move on to Tuesday now.

We definitely pacing ourselves in the 2nd half...Gini & Milner did clocked up lots of mileage the last few games so it was wise to have them played for 45mins each. Bring on Chelsea and City

We actually play Chelsea on Wednesday mate.

Anyway, an important win and performance ahead of two possibly season defining games vs. Chelsea and City in the league. Would have liked to see Fabinho feature for a few minutes and IMO that was the original plan before VVD got injured and we just couldn't risk it with him.

Speaking of VVD, how stresfull was that, seing him getting injured? Had a mini heart attack when I saw him holding his ribs. Thankfully, he looked fine afterwards. IMO we can afford to lose anyone, even Salah or Mane, but not van Dijk. If we are to challenge the title, he needs to stay fit throughout the whole season.

We are doing what needs to be done, try to win every game. Yes City will drop points but this is the way it is if we want to win the premiership. Testing times ahead however this start is awesome and long may it continue.

Good match today had we kept going we easily could've won 5 or 6 nil. But i prefer that we kept our composure and reserved our engery in the 2nd half.
I think Shaq will start or play full 90 vs Chelsea in mid week.

Good to see Salah getting on the scoresheet.

1 was forced - the VVD one the other two were tactical

Good win. Game was won in the first half and we barely got out of third gear in the second half.

Any links to highlights of the goals, as I missed the match today.

Still top of the league, but can we stay there for the duration. Remains to be seen.
