Tough game and one we must not DRAW. We can't keep on dropping silly points.

Even though it is early, we could've kept a good gap sadly, we've given the others hope. Looking at the fixtures City have a better run than us.
We must be more consistent now and string a good few consecutive wins
Starting from tonight.

Southampton away is a tricky fixture at the best of times and even more so now with our recent away form though to be fair there has been extenuating circumstances i.e us being hammered by injuries but we are starting to get one or two back so let’s see what happens.

Crazy season. Crazy football. Time for the madness to change. Every team has had spells of misfortune and we are no exception. It is now time to go on a run and stamp our authority on this bizarre title race. Both City and United are now breathing down our necks and if that isn’t enough to motivate Juergen and the lads then I don’t know what is. Our bitter neighbours aren’t that far away either !!

Southampton will not be easy. They will also feel that the title is not beyond the realms of possibility. We need to have nothing less than total commitment. Thiago and AOC can be instrumental in making things tick in midfield. I like the idea of Hendo as centre back. It’s going to be interesting.

LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS

Team to play Southampton: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Henderson, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Subs: Kelleher, Milner, Jones, Minamino, Shaqiri, Origi, Rhys Williams, Phillips, Neco Williams.

Interesting choice at CB Hendo and Fab- allows for an attacking midfield trio- ammunition for the front three should NOT be in short supply tonight.

Looks like Hendo could be playing CB!
Alisson, Trent, Fab, Hendo, Robbo, Thiago ( :buttrock ), Gini, Ox, Sadio, Mo, Bob

Looks a good side on paper, let’s see how they do out on the grass.

2 CM’s at CB, I wonder if that’s ever happened before? I can’t remember ever seeing it though I probably have.

I wouldn't be surprised if we obliterate them. We are capable to destroying teams when we kick in gear.

We don't look dangerous at all. We're more likely to concede than to score.

Seriously painful to watch, we're just running round going through the motions. Soton deserve to be in front.
