Liverpool Football Club - Games

Tricky little game this one, we're notorious for f@cking ourselves up against this shower but if the lads show up for the last home game of the season then we should be able to get the win and guarantee Europa League place for next season. It's Steven Gerrard's last home game in a red shirt so no doubt he'll get 60mins then taken off to receive an ovation.

I'll go for Liverpool 4 - 0 Palace (Gerrard 3, Sterling)

Come on red men!

Fook that taking him off after 60 minutes  :glare:  Its his last home game and he should be playing every minute and in a more advanced role. We can put the llama out to pasture for this one.
Its the last home game of the season and the players always take a walk around the pitch at the end so the fan's hang back to see it. Gerrard will get his dues then.

Palace are well safe but will come to frustrate us so we need to have an answer to unlock them.

Rodgers will bring Gerrard off at point near the end of the game to make sure he gets an ovation.

So far it's been poor, poor, poor.

Why is Stirling up front? It hasn't worked all season, why will today be any different?

Why not try a new formation?

1-1 HT.
Our build up play is way too slow and imo the best player on the park has probably been Jason Puncheon!
Ibe and Lallana have looked lively but for some reason our defenders and midfielders want to pass the ball to each other for half an hour before releasing it. Very frustrating.

I really can't understand why Mig started to move in the wrong direction for their goal, at no point did it look like he was putting it in the near corner

Lucky not to be 2-1 down. Stonewall penalty not given against Skittles.

some of our passing has been scintillating, Lovren is like a wall in defence - thou shalt not pass.

1-2 Bolasie destroying us.

Stevie moved into an attacking role behind Lambert.

Would love to see him score the second and the winner!!

Thing is, I'm not even disappointed anymore. We deserve nothing from this game because this match sums up our season.

Lack of quality, players out of position and a formation that hasn't  worked for months.
