He was ***** at giving away the penalty haha...but should be a red for intentionally causing hurt to an opposition

I'd be amazed if this ends with 11 players on the pitch for both sides.

Really impressed with VVD. Hopefully our defenders will raise their game....at times VVD seemed to be directing the entire defence. Great leadership

How has Holgate escaped a yellow card for that shove? I think it's been comfortable first half but abit worried about the lack of creativity in the final 3rd. These are the games that highlight how important Coutinho is for us.

Its been a scruffy first half but importantly we have taken the lead. I was hoping Firmino would smash holdgates face. Anyhow plenty of work to be done.

Van Dijk has looked quite good at the back, very good at duels.

Yup i noticed that his already giving the others orders and commanding the back.

Im hoping them bitter w*nkers don't injure any of our players.

Gomez I thought was epic first half. Clyne will never get that right back place back. Firminho looked sharp, Lallana and others looked a bit rusty, and it was a soft penalty. But hey it was revenge for the Everton penalty in December.
Other than that, we've hardly had a shot on goal. Typical in these games, Everton will get a lucky decision second half.

We need to create more chances second half, only Ings and Solanke on the bench, attacking wise.
