Oh well atleast we've stopped the losing streak.

Firmino really should have scored tonight.

Fair result...either side could have won.

1 point off 2nd....the top 4 is the goal now. Unless Arsenal beat Chelsea and then it all starts again.

Despite the penalty safe I thought we blew the chance to win the game. We were absolutely on their throats 2nd half.

Once again Klopp's subs come into question. Bring Mane on only at 75 mins and that by taking out Couts. The rhythm without couts was absolutley affected. And the players look knackered which is fair enough but then Klopp has yet again 1 unused sub! So the subs didnt seem like they were done to win the game

Even if City win tomorrow we will hold 4th due to better goal difference.

Agree, fair result. Think the title is now definitely a long shot for us (and everyone else behind chelsea for that matter). Top 4 finish and I'll be more than happy

A win would have brought us back to second place, with only 6 points behind Chelsea. After this awful run, that would have been a fantastic comeback.

At least we didn't lose to that pack of filth I suppose. Firmino should be dropped with immediate effect

Much better performance, our defence is awful though, it was like the Keystone Cops back there tonight...Mingolet having a nice chat with his defenders while Luiz puts the ball in the net.....Lovren gifting them a 2 on 1 situation which led to a pen...even Matip kept giving it away in dangerous positions!
To be fair to our much maligned midfield though I thought Wijnaldum, Henderson and Can played really well.

We have 15 games to go that's just league games left to play. Fitness levels now should go back to their best pressing back and manne back and a fit squad at it for last 15 games. Let's now go.on and claim top 4 that's all that matters from now til end of season. January been hard month and a lot of bad luck as well. We've had our blip now let's push them on in the last 15 games

Apart from ourselves and Chelsea, all the other clubs have european games to contend with very soon so we are best placed to get top four and try and take advantage if chelsea somehow self destruct although that is extremely unlikely imo.

Yep, the longer those other clubs are in Europe/the FA Cup the better as far as I am concerned, as we found out to our cost last season that type of workload carries a price. Welshwizard is right about us having our fair share of injuries and bad luck too (e.g the offside decision that went against us at Old Trafford, Cameroon playing hardball over Matip, even that freekick today etc etc), maybe it's someone else's turn to have a few things go against them.

Being honest we never looked liked getting a win. It was a better performance alright but it was pretty much our strongest 11 out there but we still were making the same mistakes. A goal behind again because of that clown mingolet  I know he saved a pen but its the usual shyte with him and it will never change.  We did move the ball quicker at times but not often enough and again poor up front. Had we of really got at them we could have won it and made up some ground due to other results.
We take a point and move on.

Really don't know what was going on with the goal we conceded. Looked like something off a sunday league game.

Here's a thought... Even "if" others slip up because they're playing for silverware in competitions we've been dumped out of, isn't that*still* a bit shyte on our part? That we're not good enough on our own merit? The term 'schadenfreude' springs to mind, and it's a little petty...
