Shambles. We look like the side of two years ago.

Two shambolic goals by the goalie but I won’t criticize Allison too much as to be fair he is the only one who’s quality hasn’t dropped this season. Once again the opposing team were able to, in periods of the game, drive through midfield like they weren’t there. This is a team in the relegation zone.

Gakpo looked like the ball will stick to his feet and I liked what I saw, he is a big man but plays like a little man  (meaning looked nimble), unlike Nunez who plays like a bigger player. Nunez looked better in the middle but still a little clumsy, his goal as nice as it was still seemed to get more shin than foot, that is where the inconsistency comes from, could as easily missed. Kind of reminds me of drogba, he scored so many off his shin but when he got hot he got important goals. I do like Nunez’s attitude though, it says he will be ok.

Brighton away if we get past Wolves, not having the best of luck with these draws, City away in the league cup then back to back Prem teams in the FA.

Phenomenal goal from Nunez and a brilliant assist from TAA. We are fragile at the moment and it is a tough watch.

Keep the faith lads.

Just shows you how our form has fallen this year when Brighton is considered a tough draw. Still, could be worse, you could be a Villa supporter

All the tabloids, practically every pundit on Sky Sports News and even the Echo have all been commenting on how imperative it is that we get some legs into our midfield this window but as per usual we sit on our hands.
The decision to sign Gakpo is looking stranger by the day, yes the likes of Diaz and Jota will be out until late Feb/March but our midfield is basically washed up, as in stick an effing fork in it it’s done. Blowing our mid winter budget on a forward when our MF is getting its @rse handed to it practically on a weekly basis by luminaries like Brentford, Forest, Villa and Wolves is ludicrous.
