Bournemouth vs Liverpool - Sat 8th Dec (12.30pm)

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby damjan193 » Sat Dec 08, 2018 3:37 pm

Great game, and make no mistake, that was a fantastic result against a tough oposition at their own pitch. Bournemout are no mugs, but we made it look easy.

Great moral boost ahead of the Napoli game, would play the same team against them.

Also, hopefully this is the day the turnaround happens. If City don't drop points today then I don't know when.

There have been games this season where we have got the result without really imposing ourselves on the opposition, today though I thought the midfield really got a grip on the game. Fabinho in particular is really starting to impress me, he's the type of streetwise player that we have been missing in the middle of the park. As others have mentioned as well Bournemouth is a tough place to go but we made that look relatively easy.
Hopefully Chelsea can do us a favour later.

Perfect, simply perfect.  45 points from the last 51.

Fantastic result and good to put pressure on City, before they (hopefully) finally drop points against Chelsea.

How good was Allison again.

What a signing!

We move on to a massive showdown with Napoli.

I feel another special night in my bones :)

Salah outstanding  :buttrock

Keita ? don't want to be to harsh on the fella but given our expectations he was almost invisible   :(

Overall a Commanding Team Performance, meanwhile hoping Chelsea can take something off Man "Opec" City tonight !

Yep, City have been by far the better side but to be fair to Chelsea they've defended well and hung in there.

Well done Chelsea the mighty can be beat. It is awesome that we took maximum vs Bournemouth because we will need to capitalise when City falter.

Hopefully that loss will put a dent in City's confidence. I'm not even that @rsed about the CL on Tuesday, it's the League I want, 30 years for a club of our size and stature is a pi$$ take.
Pity the season didn't end today.

Yeah same here we had our CL ride last season and boy did i enjoy it. Not too concerned this season if we go through great if not then at least we can focus more on the league. Fringe players could be used for Europa.
