Bah, I was hoping Ward would get his clean sheet in his first start because he really deserved it. Great game by the kid nonetheless. Good game by everyone overall.

Good job Leicester to get the draw as well.

Klopp on Jordon Ibe: "I heard he had some problems with me—absolutely not. He's still a brilliant, big, big talent. He did well today."
Klopp: "Daniel Sturridge had a wonderful game, Joe Allen - pffff (smiles) what a game from him."Klopp: "Danny Ward in goal. Really good, really really good."
Klopp: "Nobody is undroppable. I decide if we play with one, two, three or four strikers."
Klopp says Origi had a problem with his back, "hopefully it's not serious." Toure has a muscle problem, "I don't know if it's cramp."
Klopp: "I told the boys 'you can play football'. If it doesn't work, they could blame me."
Klopp: "The exciting thing is to give the young boys the chance to take part in their first PL game, and their second PL game."
Klopp: "Sometimes rotation is for resting players for other tournaments. You cannot rest for a tournament, you [use your] fit players."

Impressive by the youngsters. Really nice to see such a big rotation work. Psychological its smart after such a performance by the first team. Save the confidence and let them ride on it for awhile. A bad performance would have hurt after such a "magical" night.

Feels like Klopp came in just a tad too late for us in league terms, better timing I think we would have been well in for top 4.

With Everton on the horizon and a Europa semi what seemed like a write off season now has meaning and genuine hope.

Everyone is playing for their futures and that edge is very noticable.

Wasn't having that reporter at all was he? Haha.

Good on him. The Sturridge question was stupid. Klopp put him in his place.

Jurgen's not soft, he could see a mile off where that journo was trying to take the conversation, the fella was obviously trying to stir the shyte in order to get a headline about Jurgen and Danny not getting on. Plenty of United fans in that press corps.

Don't understand why they show the press conferences but don't sort the sound out so you can hear the questions!

Brave selection from Klopp today that worked out fine. Just a shame that the Hammers picked up a point.

Everton next... bitter, bitter little people.

If you go on YouTube Reg you can find alternative press conference coverage to that supplied by "this is anfield" where the questions are audible.

Here's the post Bournmouth conference from "The Reds" (slightly shorter than the one from TIA)
