Dont want City and I suspect they don't want us either, I think they'd rather play us in a one off final on a neutral oche than have to come to Anfield on a big European night.

Agree with the general sentiment that Bayern were poor but thought it was a decent away performance nonetheless. The home team are always going to have the lions share of possession but I thought we contained them well enough.

Mane M.O.T.M  :nod  Took Neuer completely out of the game with that sidestep and finished up with a deft little chip  :bowdown

I'll take anyone other than Man City. Too intense for the team and fans over two legs.

Just hope City get a tough draw...Barcelona, They think they have some entitlement to the trophy as they have spent so much on players, and claim to be the best.

I'll take, Man Utd or Porto or Ajax.

Amazing amazing display well fekin done lads. I want Man Utd next!!!!

Regardless of how this Bayern team is credit must be given to us. To go to Germany and win 3-1 on their turf is something to be proud of. It was not luck but a convincing victory. Well done again to Klopp and the lads.

To be competing on two fronts this year is great achievement...I really hope we can end our trophy drought. We’ve been so unlucky up till now I think we’re owed something special come May...

That was great.

Note to Klopp: Glad you ignored the rat's advice.

Ignore that shit stirrer twat...unfit to be a supporter, unable to find happiness in any accomplishments. Definitely the cup half empty kinda guy that you don't need in your circle. So much negativity about every players, managers etc who represented the club I wondered what have he actually achieved in real life? Most likely nothing with that kinda attitude  :no

That assist from Salah for Mane 2nd goal was exquisite. Salah may not be scoring but he works hard and helps the lads very well. I think he is trying to hard to find the net that's why he over does it at times. He will score soon I'm certain.

Great victory last night in one of the most difficult places to go in European football, we can now say we have seen our team win in the Nou Camp, the Bernabeu, Munich, the Velodrome and the San Siro the great stadiums of European football.

When i saw the lineup I must admit I was livid to see Hendo and Milner together in midfield and feared the worst and we did start terribly, tbh I think the entire first half we were poor apart from Manes moment of world class excellence. The second half we were composed and really stamped our authority on the game and ran out comfortable winners. VVD was outstanding, he scored, got an assist and was imperious at the back, he truly is the ultimate defender there is nothing he cant do! he is the leader of this team and has taken us to a new level.

And finally id just like to say something to all those saying we should dump the champs league to concentrate on the Premier league, the feeling you get from defeating a European giant and the confidence that brings has lifted us and can only be an advantage, imagine how we would all be feeling if we lost last night, I think a big win like last nights can only help us, also the added prestige of establishing ourselves again as Champion league powerhouses will help us with player recruitment and bigger sponsorship deals, onward and upwards!

Santa stop taking Algymoron seriously !! He’s Woofs alter ego to drum up interest in the forum otherwise he would have banned the crazy git !! I do agree with Algy about Firmino and Salah. They are both absolutely fkg useless and should be kicked out as soon as possible. Klopp needs his head seeing to playing them ahead of Sturridge and Origi !! To be honest if Mané wasn’t scoring goals I’d get rid of him as well.
