guy roux was on the radio this morning and said that djib would be back in five or six months for sure. he was pretty confident.

Other thing.. picking Govou instead of Anelka or even giuly is a big mistake. most of the ppl in here are :censored: mad about that descision ^^

now about the insurance thing, it would be normal that the FFF pay for everything but the fifa is currently arguing about that subject in court with the G14 and the Abidal case. so in few weeks things could change.

When you break both of your legs like that your career is definitely in jeopardy, because these sort of injuries will never recover properly.  Good luck to him see you later!

well yes :/ but think about ronaldo and his knee it was worst and he came back and since he had no problem with that so theres still hope that cissé will have a great carreer.

Roux knows Cisse very well and knows what huge mental strength he has to get through this.  Even if Cisse is back by Jan, I would still say next season is a right off for him as again its going to take time to get up to speed.  So once again Cisse will not have a real season under his belt.  This injury doesnt mean its over for him.  Larsson suffered a nasty injury and the next season got over 50 goals.    Ronaldo broke down on his first game back at Inter and was out for ages but recovered.

As for Gouvou.  I rate the kid v highly and last night picked him as the replacement.  Anelka and Guily said too much things attacking the French Coach.  No way could he pick Anelka after his comments.  Was never going to happen.  I hope Anelka now realises what a huge mistake he made as if he would of kept quiet I think he would of been the replacement.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Ribery.  I think he may of stayed at Marsielle if they would of got Cisse.  That would of been a signal to Ribery of intent and showed him that Marsielle will be gunning for the championship next year.

As for the transfer kitty.  I dont think its that much.  I dont think we can afford a Kuyt for instance and a Alves as well. Not sure if Pongelle and Le Tallac can be let go now either as at the moment we are v lightweight up front.

Rafa was supposed to be going for alves, kuyt, and bellamy or bent so i dont know hes goin two sign out them now that the cisse deal has fell through. Maybe he will sign pennant as an alternative to alves and then sign the two strikers...any ideas?

ribery will join Lyon now i think since Cissé wont join Marseille. Well probably Lyon but neverknows.. MU wants him too so lets see.

For Anelka the thing is that most of the players wanted him to join the team after Cissé injury but idk the coach had to take a descision and picked govou. no big deal anyway govou is also talentued. i m just disapointed coz Anelka always been pretty good with France in the past.

Ace Ventura wrote:So lads who are condemning the fans that are worried about the implication this has on the club, when is it acceptable to worry about how this will affect the club and Rafa's rebuilding ?

Maybe 24hrs after the injury ? Some kunts were moaning about our loss of cash while the ambulance was still en route to the hospital .

I know footy fans are a mixed bunch but the almost chelsea like obsession with money displayed by some in here was f*cking sickening .

Certainly now that we cannot sell him it will have huge implications for Rafa transfer plans and is worthy of discussion BUT for f*cks sake does that discussion have to take place within minutes/hours of him breaking his leg ?
Show some common decency FFS . One or two people in here (not you Ace) are imo no better than Scum .

I agree with you 100% woof , the poor lad has had some sh!tty luck. As i said in another thread tho ,i think it will be harder to get himself right this time knowing that he wasn't in Rafa's plans anymore. The one thing is he'll get all the support he needs from the club and hopefully be back as good as knew by crimbo. His worth to the team is not an issue at this time ,that should be for when he is fit again.

I genuinely think Cisse is better than Crouch and Fowler, and I am not deluded. Btw you cannot compare Crouch with Pele, thats just ridiculous!

So is comparing a player with little or not techincal ability & a lack of intelligence to one of the greatest box finishers I've ever seen.

Someone said comparing crouch to cisse would be like comparing neville to pele, so in this case crouch must be pele and cisse must be neville because crouch is the better player.

You aren't deluded? I'm not bein funny, if you said that to me in person i'd smash a glass in your face. You are completely :censored: clueless. Sissy is :censored:. He's a joke, for you to sit there and say someone who can't trap a bag of cement is better than one of LFC's greatest players ever and a lad who's improved the side this season is unbelievable.

You're a :censored: clueless numpty. No doubt you are 15 and think pace is the be all and end all. Everyone of your posts is about Sissy. He's a joke, the best coach in europe wanted to offload him and i, and many many others agree with him. END FUCKING OF!

I hope that you dont mean the opponents should pay his wages, thats ludicrous. Your unhealthy obsession with cisse is unbelievable, in no way was it the chinese defenders fault, it was the way cisse fell that did his leg.

Yes , its the opponents should pay  and its for protection for all players and the club he play for.

As an aside, I bet - even today after the injury - Cisse could still beat Sean Dundee in a race.

For that matter, I bet Douglas Bader could beat Sean Dundee in a race. :p

WTF...so countries have to pay teams compensation if one of their players has an injury whilst playing that country.

Why should the chinese FA have to pay because cisse got injured, it wasnt their fault that he broke his leg.
