Read Robbie Fowler's book and your question will be answered.  He would never play for Everton and both Fowler and his Dad were Evertonians once.  Now they both cannot stand the club because of the amount of abuse their so called fans have given him in the past.  All the rumours about drugs etc.... the smackhead taunts, all a myth perpetuated by Everton fans.  Fowler has also took a couple of smacks off lads while out in Town drinking, one in the Wonder Bar and another in that hotel on Paradise Street which has been knocked down.  I can't say whether or not they were opposition fans or not but I will try and clarify that later on. 

But Everton rejecting Fowler?  Don't make me laugh, he wouldn't have given them the time of day in the first place.  Did you see Anelka's reaction last week when he was being linked with them?  Imagine that, multiply it by a factor of one thousand and then you would get Robbie's reaction on being linked to Everton.

It's all in the book.  A very detailed chapter all about the drug rumours and his feelings on Everton.  I'll have a quick read of it later and summarise it if I get the chance.

As for the bluenoses rejecting Fowler,no way has this happened Robbie wouldnt even speak to them as jonnymac has said....... read his book.

Nancy Boys is Hustler.  I'll get shut of him in a minute, he's gone overboard again and proved why he shouldn't be given another chance to post on here.

I very much doubt that Everton rejected Fowler, I don't know where that one is coming from.

Everton are desperate to land a forward at the moment and its not like players are screaming to join them.

As for Evertonian's treatment of Fowler, yes, a lot of it has been disgraceful. We all know Robbie's no angel, but Bluenose treatment towards him has been disgusting.

I'm sure the majority of Everton fans are decent people but Everton have a nasty element among their fans, the bitter of the bitter. Its always been the way. Even back in the 1960s Jack Charlton said that he hated going to Goodison because there was always a nasty vibe from the crowd.

You only need look at an Everton web forum to see some of the bile they say about us. The comments about Djbril Cisse this week have been vile and completely unwarranted.

It is, after all, only a game, and I cannot see why opposition fans should not have a bit of light hearted banter, but the stuff you here from Bluenoses goes too far at times.
