Well LFC anmd myself have had a chat via PM so hopefully that one is cleared up. Back onto the subject of rotation...
I was thinking while I was talking about Arsenal in another thread and how they've fully utilised their relatively easy start ot the season, how would they have gone if they had picked their team in the same manner we picked ours? If they had made the same number of changes that we had, flipped over the fullbacks and the wide-men regularly, benched their top players (probably Fabregas would be a comparison) and rotated the strikers, would they be in the position they are now?
The short answer of course is that nobody knows. At the start of the season though, if say Reading were playing Arsenal would they have fancied their chances? Would they have gone for it, got in the faces of the Londeners and gone for the win? Definately, but now when they play against Wengers men, even at Home they get ten behind the ball and try and hang on. At the start of the season would we have expected Arsenal to go to Anfield and dominate the game for long periods like they did, to miss two open goals rebounding from two solid hits of the goal frame in a 1-1 draw? And would they have doninated their group in the Champions League, qualifying in a canter with precision football had they have changed the team as often and to the extent that we have?
Like I said, nobody knows for sure and nobody will ever know. We can guess though, and I know what my guess is.
