Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby A.B. » Sat Nov 13, 2004 6:09 pm

Well I won't be able to see the game itself on TV until later on today so I can not comment on the game. Last night I prayed that we win today, and I prayed right after Palace equalized for the second time. God answered my prayer with a ****** Red victory!

Those who did see it, how did we play overall?

Absolutly fantastic apart from Josemi who was ball watching again and was the fault of them scoring 2 :glare: . But the team played as a team, funny tho baros fell he did dive a bit and Kolkka got booked for throwin himself on the floor impersonating baros, milan was just full of bags of energy and they couldnt handle him, hence the 2 pens should have been 3 one was dissaloud.
Xabi well what can I say never seen a player with so much priction passes as him what a player, gerrard was there and he must be thinkin what a partnership we will have, Kewell a fair performance, Riise was fumin he got took off he was really dissapointed, Mellor didnt get a look in when he came on.
But overall we constantly harrassed there defence and in the end it payed off.
Brilliant and so where the fans anfield was electric.

It was about time we got some penalties, still it doesn't make up for the ones we should had in past games.

the game was ok, we gave away sloppy goals again but luckily we were ok going forward. kewell finally did a bit of work. overall not a bad performance but it was heading for a draw.

is it a coincidence both their goals came from their left wing? Today's game, Josemi was definately a weaker link.

Subs:
Finnan did very very well. Mellor did nothing for 15 mins. FSP came on the 92mins.

Surely Finnan must start ahead of Josemi in our next game!

Josemi has been the fault of letting players score a bit to many times now, his face wasnt to happy either :glare: .
Dont think hes a happy chappy meself.
and I agree Finnan ahead of him next game.

Well from what you've all been saying,Josemi has lost it completely. A bit disapointed by that considering that he looked quite solid at the begining. I think since we are playing Boro next week, Finnan will start.
