The disillusioned thread. - No happy-clappers allowed.

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Lando_Griffin » Mon Dec 15, 2008 4:18 am

This thread is for those who choose to look at the negatives of our campaign/manager, so that they may do so in peace.

May I humbly request that any Happy-Clappers causing a sh*t-storm be banned from the forum for a day, to maintain its misery.

Get moaning, moaners...

Rafa is boss !

He's brought us a long way in his tenure, and I'm hoping come May Rafa will bring home number 19.

This place is the pits - who needs to log on to a Mancshi'te site when Newkit has got it's fair share of doomsday, disecting know-it-alls who claim to be excruciatingingly enjoying the season and some of whom having offered their tactical analysis, want the manager to go now...
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

RAFA.. MADE THE PEOPLE HAPPY !

Well that wasn't posted to wind people up was it.
If no one moaned, we wouldn't need any threads. just one saying

we are perfect
then everyone would agree.

I'm with Lando on this.

There's a time and a place to moan. Being top of the league isn't one.

Rafa's reasons for his subs :-

"The decisions were tactical. El Zhar did well, as did Babel. With Lucas, we needed an attacking midfielder because the other team sat very deep. We are not the type of team that try to play long balls and win second balls," he explained.

"I am not a manager who will take decisions to be popular. We needed to use wingers and an offensive midfielder who could go forward and be more precise with the ball. It was just a tactical decision.

"If you put more people into the box you have to play more long balls. But we are not that type of team. We needed people with ability in wide areas, so it was a decision purely about winning. To put more people into the box and start playing long balls is not the solution."

"El Zhar did well", "Babel did well" - what game was he watching.  For christ sake, Babel at one stage, got the ball and tried to pass the ball through defender and then tried to run through defender himself, he failed obviously, bounced back off the defender and was pure lucky that the ball came back out to him - he looked like an U10 schoolboy trying to do a grown up trick and failing miserably.  What a joke of a comment.
"We are not a long ball team" - thats all Carra/Hyypia do when they get the ball.  I counted at least 12 or more long ball by either of them or Pepe Reina that rolled back to other goalie or over end line.
