That's bullsH!T LEE . Roy wasn't given a chance by some because he had been a manager for 35 years before us and his track record spoke for itself. If the club employed a manager who was as good as or better than benitez there would have been none of this. It's got f.uck all to do with the fans and everything to do with how bad a manager hodgson is.

I'm not sad to see Roy depart, he didn't fit in at all. We as fans did not know how good or bad Roy was gonna turn out for LIVERPOOL FC. Fuk whatever sh!te he may have done for the last 35 years , this was Roy Hodgson as manager of Liverpool FC and certain breed of fans on here stuck the fuking boot in and called him all the kunts under the sun BEFORE we even found out.

and if you say you knew how it'd turn out way back in Jul/Aug then you must be Mistic fuking Meg or summat.

But now it seems he'll be on his way, the Roy bashers are happy, the Liverpool FC fans are happy (hopefully the rot will stop now) and we move on.

I just think the way certain members have behaved, on here, have let the club down as much as the manager. I just expect better. But he does have to go, and the new guy better do well quick or who knows what abuse he'll get.

A lot of fans would have Rafa back right now, maybe you would too, but that decision would not come without its fair share of problems.  As much as I liked Rafa he isn't the man for the job right now, for me all the pressure on him before broke him toward the end and he lost the plot a bit.  He needs time off he doesn't need to be thrown right back into the sh!t we have at the club.  It would be a bad decision to bring him back regardless of how much he is loved.

With all that's happened I have to say that our fans are acting really foolish at times, it's ridiculous reading some of RAWK and some post on here.  I know that the situation isn't a desirable one but people already blasting our new owners who have just stepped into all this is fucking pathetic if you ask me.  Roy has had his chance to show what he could do with the squad and see if further backing was necessary, he is as good as sacked at the moment but all this impatience going on is unbelievable.  Give everyone a fucking break already, really.  Let the owners figure this stuff out cause believe it or not, the fans don't know what is best for the club and even if they did they don't know the ways to go about getting those things.  Think about it for a minute, do we really want Kenny or anyone coming in before Man U in the FA Cup?  Regardless of whoever comes in or Roy stays you can almost count on that one being a loss, no manager wants to come into that right away.  Top class managers aren't going to just fall into our laps especially with the lack of quality in the squad and the way a lot of our players look like they don't give a sh!t.  We aren't even a team out there at times just a bunch of individuals going through the motions, same as last year when we had a better manager.

Lets say Kenny does come in, what are you lot going to say if he can't get the results either?  What if we do get a manager everyone approves of and STILL don't get results that are good enough for our wonderful supporters?  Are you all going to bottle it again and keep complaining about how we need this or that the owners the manager etc etc, have a look at yourselves in the future if we aren't all of a sudden fighting for the title next year.  I want Roy out but a lot of what makes Liverpool supporters so good is making them look like a bunch of whingers right now.  If I was Liverpools owner or manager I'd tell the fans to stick to supporting the club and leave these matters to people who actually make these decisions.

Actually the protests had very little effect; because H&G had to be FORCED out via a court of law…even then they refused up until the 11th hour under the threat of being held for contempt of court. They didn’t give a hoot about the protests.

The person who got rid of them was Broughton…the guy a number of fans on here claimed was a “Chelsea cockney c**t"

So no, the mob mentality isn’t always right.

The arguemnt for most that backed Rafa is that he shouldn't have been sacked to start with. Don't you talk sh*te, fella. If the protests had little effect, then why did they get under Hicks' skin so much as to publically call the fans "internet terrorists". They obviously had a bigger effect than you think.

So I don't post here much, but I can't help myself now given the recent hysteria surrounding the reds and Roy Hodgson. I would like to make a few points:

1) I, like most, would like to see Roy sacked, and sooner rather than later. However, I fail to understand the vitriol with which he is attacked by LFC fans. The insinuations that he is in cahoots with Sir Alex, etc. are just ridiculous. The man's obviously trying his best and is certainly not deliberately throwing games. There is a right way and a wrong way to call for the sacking of a manager. The fact is that as long as he's here we're in this together. When he does get the sack, we should all act with a little bit of dignity, thank the man for his efforts, and move on. Acting like he is purposely trying to sabotage the club is pointless, juvenile, and counterproductive, not to mention it tarnishes the reputation of the so-called greatest fans in the world.

2) Attacking Henry, Werner, and NESV. This makes little to no sense. Sure, I would have loved to see the axe fall after the Wolves game, but in the grand scheme of things, IT DOESN'T REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE. It is next to impossible that we finish in the top four, even with a new manager installed immediately, and it is equally unlikely that we will be relegated, even if Hodgson is given the rest of the season. Sure, we may finish mid-table, but what's the difference between 8th and 12th at this point? The season is lost; we need to accept that, as NESV have obviously done, and start thinking about next year. I don't think Roy will last the season, and I'm certain he won't be in charge for our next campaign. The timing at this point is almost irrelevant. I would much rather NESV take their tame and make sure they do things the right way than shoot from the hip like the last cowboys we had here. NESV is a proven sports management outfit, they are not buyout-leverage merchants like we had before, and I have confidence that they understand the nature of the LONG-TERM plan needed to get this club back to where it belongs.

3) Protests. Please, please, please, people, don't march in front of Anfield or Melwood or wherever demanding the owners sack Hodgson. It's just stupid, and it's not on. HE IS ALREADY GOING TO BE SACKED, and THE SEASON IS ALREADY LOST. These are inevitabilities, and such protests and marches make us all look like stupid immature reactionaries.

In summary, I would plead with all LFC fans to be patient, get behind the team and NESV, and cut all the vitriol and personal attacks. Just chill.

Exactly. I never thought Benitez should have been sacked, and I wasn't thrilled about the appointment of Hodgson, but I hoped that it would work out for the best. It obviously hasn't, and it's too bad...I would just hate for Roy to have to read some of the things posted on here which are so wide of the mark.

Well I obviously made no suggestion that he reads these forums; he's probably too old to even understand what a forum is. Sorry that you missed the point, but it was that you shouldn't say anything about him here that you wouldn't say to his face. People other than Roy do visit these forums, and it may help them form their impressions of LFC fans.

And so what if he is friends with Ferguson. What do you want him to do, tell Alex they can't speak to each other anymore? I can't decide who I want out of the club more, Roy or some of our useless supporters.
