He seems to be very interested on your job, he might need your services. But, discuss the details in PM and let's talk about the game.

The video of Voronin's goal is up on youtube now. It was a well worked goal. Voronin was thrilled to finally put one past the keeper.

A good solid win, last year we probably would have drawn or lost that one, lets hope that Carra's injury isn't that bad,if so Rafa might have to bring in a CB,the only player I can think of at the moment is Curtis Davies from West Brom(about £10m)???

Good performance.
Sissoko played well in the centre, great goal too!
Vorinin scored a good goal and linked up well.
Torres was excellent, lots of pace, lots of quality (definitely our best striker)
Pennant was also excellent. Why on earth is he not in the England squad!?

Heh, since Torres has arrived Liverpool now appears on the frontpage of Marca and AS.

Ironically aswell both papers say Alonso handled the game very well (not his best match IMHO) and say Torres should have done better.

Does anyone know where I can find Rafa's post match words? They're quoting him praising and saying that it's important other men doing the job, and that shows how strong is the squad now.

P.S. From the tv site

"The team was very good and we showed we have a better squad this season," enthused Benitez. "It was special for Momo to score our 7,000th goal and he's now in the record books.

"I thought Torres, Voronin, Pennant and Babel caused the Sunderland defence a lot of problems. We created a lot of chances and we could have finished off the game a lot earlier.

"It's not good as a manager for my heart seeing us miss chances, but Voronin scored a good goal to get us the win."

Keane has kind words after the match aswell, and I value that, fair play to him

"They've got a great chance to win the league this year, and we saw that with the strength in depth they showed today," said Keane.

"I can't have too many complaints. We showed some good bits of quality but it just wasn't our day – it's always going to be tough against a team like Liverpool.

"Sometimes you've got to take your medicine and accept defeat – our players will learn from this."

And to end with the reactions, Momo was very happy

Momo Sissoko has spoken of his desire to start climbing the Anfield scoring charts after breaking his Liverpool duck on his 75th appearance for the club.
The Malian scored the Reds' 7,000th league goal in Saturday's 2-0 win over Sunderland.

"I am very happy, not only because I've got my first goal for the club, but also because the team won. This was a very good result," said the midfielder.

"It's been a long time coming – I'm in my third year here! I was very surprised to score but I want to go on and score many goals for Liverpool."

Meanwhile, Sissoko is refusing to get carried away despite the Reds' excellent start to the campaign.

"Sunderland are a very good team, but we played well today. We are going to have to work hard to win games.

"There's no need to talk about the title at this stage of the season – we just need to keep winning games."

It's a good sentence that last bit. Many were doubting we could challenge the league this season, and it's just the third game. The best attitude is to think only in winning the next match.

Torres aint really doing it for me at the mo, lot of hype expected a demi god on the pitch, buts that my fault, give him a few games before i make my decision on him....

now babel, is exciting me, i admit hes not strong on the ball passing defenders, but he is fast and has some power on that shot......

A nice steady start...its looking good and a game in hand. we should be at top not those blue tw**S
