Some good news - Manure held by blues

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Surely gotta be good news if the blues have restricted Manure to a nil nil.

Not even another dodgy handball could help them this time.

I wonder if Rooney joins the manure squad on their bus-ride back to Manchester ???  Not very happy about crediting Everton, but for once I`m happy with a blues-point :;):

Moyes is probably having a strict head count before he will allow the team coach to leave :D

This comment won't be welcomed here but perhaps we Liverpool fans should stop gloating over Man UTD's "misfortunes" and concentrate on our own club?

Who cares if Rooney joins the scum, I honestly cant see what else he will bring to their team at the mo. All the signs of decline are there. I think if Manure dont win the league and with the loss of Keane and the ageing of others Giggs, Scholes combined with the poor quality of fergusons buys over the 2 years they will be facing a situation like the one we found ourselves in when King Kenny left.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

And while we laugh about Man UTD's decline (which is not yet clear) Arsenal and Chelsea dissapear over the blue horizon?

Thats a very good point, but the fact that they were held by the blues does help (slightly) ease the pain of yesterdays defeat

And on the other hand putting aside normal reasons perhaps we should be happy about the result as the MANCs will despite some cracks appearing will again be challenging for Champion league place along with us.
So every point they drop should be welcomed

Can we really expect Rafa to keep this team up with Arsenal and Chelsea. IMO if it takes a season or two to get us playing football anything like Arsenal Im happy to wait. Im probably thinking with my heart as opposed to my head reagrding Manure coz I hate them as much as I love Liverpool but fingers, crossed, touch wood, lucky rabbit foot and erm I cant think of anymore oh a four leaf clover and magic charms, There magically delicious u know.

My point exactly JBG... Manure are no longer the bench mark.. we can take small comfort..in their decline if our own progress waines.. though I belive we will be in the ascendency under the Boss... Dom your blues are doing well... what crises ay :D

I reckon we revel in manc misfortune just as much as they revel in ours.As someone else said, they are in competition with us for a CL place. The more points they drop the better.
