what premiership experience did arsene wenger have when arsenal appointed him?

the fact of the matter is there are only a select few managers in the premiership who have won anything of note. the board believe they have got it right and i trust their judgement.

So what prem experience did Wenger have before he joined Arsenal? Did you invade the Arsenal forums saying the same thing to them when he came along? Benitez has plans for the club which will take time and lets face it all of his signings are promising! I never even heard of Wenger when he took over Arsenal but were are they now? So who do you say out of the English managers should really have took over then? ???

He came straight from Aberdeen, where he was very succesful, its amazing what has been accomplished under him.

I feel confidence with Rafa and am sure he will take us forward

New manager of Tottenham and Chelsea don't have any Premiership experience either but they are doing fine, strike 4.

I could care less if you're a girl, just another Manchester scum who can't accept the fact that we have better talent. If you were a fan of another club I wouldn't be saying this however anybody who is a Manchester Utd fan is blinded by stupidity.

No wonder there is hatred for Manure... They're now targeting disloyal, shallow, dishonest players who profess love for their respective clubs and then try and sign them (Smith & Rooney).  It won't be just Liverpool fans that will hate them if they coninue this policy.

Also, given how quickly Smith and Rooney have dumped their "boyhood idols", if Utd's decline continues they'll dump on them quickly also.
