A few papers have started a new rumour linking Toon's French midfielder, Laurent Robert with us. It seems that Robert is not pleased with the way things are going at Newcastle and that Benitez might be interested in signing Robert.

Great player, shows it more often than Kewell and isn't as lazy as people say. However, i'd rather keep hold of Harry unless we can sign Vicente, Duff or Robben.

Robert may come on loan for the rest of the season if Benitez wants him, but the problem is he wants out cause hes bench warming and with Harry, and Warnock he would be doing the same at LFC.
Unless Harry goes for his hernia op and would be out for 2 to 3 months to get it sorted.

if kewell goes down, why would he be riding the bench. Wouldnt he make first team and Warnock be the sub?
