The few times I saw him playing for the reserves he stood out so good to see he's developing well.

Kinda like Heskey's brother at 6'6"....

If this kid develops well he could be the plan B we've been missing.

i doubt it damjan because the lad is already 20 yrs old and if rodgers rated him then he would be here. he has had a half a season to impress when we had no options and was never tried.
personally i would have kept carroll as a plan B but i reckon rodgers see's the both of them in the same light and thats not suiting his style.

apparently one of our under 21 players, mark pelosi, was rushed to hospital with a broken leg today during a game against west brom.
i havent seen the tackle myself but by all accounts it was a horrendous 2 footed challenge which left his team mates fuming.
pelosi, who hails from california, had been playing really well recently and was one of the star performers in our all conquering under 21 team which has only lost 1 game all season.
i wish him a speedy recovery.

the nextgen side have been dumped out of this season`s competition by sporting lisbon. lisbon won 4-0 and it could have been more.

Too be fair it was a bit of a mish mash team with the likes of Yesil, Smith and Pelosi being injured and some of the better overage players like Suso and Coady being in the Europa League squad and Robinson going out on loan. If we could have put out our best 11 it would have been a much more competitive game.

With the U19s getting knocked out of the NextGen and the first team having a good chance of getting knocked out of the Europa League tomorrow I think the likes of Adorjan, Coady, Sama, and Suso will probably go out on loan to lower league clubs.

Get down to Anfield tomorrow night (Friday) and support the U18s in their FA Cup semi final against Chelsea who themselves are an excellent side. We have some promosing players including Jack Dunn,  the most naturally gifted scouser at the club after Gerrard.

Good news I hope.....

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... -City.html

but also shows how we have hit rock bottom -= new young, unproven manager, new scouting team, new young unproven players going straight into the first team.
Everything front the Kenny era has been washed aside  as worthless,

Tell me theres good news at the end of the tunnel.  :Oo:
