actually i am amazed that they responded. they must get nut-cases writing in all the time. they have a process in place to deal with viewer comments and a log. this is all good stuff. everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Look Barnes has enough skill in his left foot to make up the difference!! Why else do you think he is on there?
Also, if the viewing figures were cack then he would've been out like a shot anyway!! Dont get it twisted, the TV companies are ruthless and they dont do 'Improving Skills' they want what will benefit them NOW!!!
And therefore he must be delivering for C5 otherwise he would've been out of there!!!

To be honest I don't care who the presenter is or how good or bad they are I watch to watch a football match not to score points off the presenter by sending in a complaint letter. And at the end of the day the presenter doesn't matter but the football we watch does. I wouldn't care if they had the manure manager as presenter you watch to watch the football.

i'm sorry, but Barnes has to be THE WORST presenter i've EVER had to misfortune to watch. He is as good as a TV presenter as he is a football manager and my "respect" for him deminishes everytime i have the misfortune to see him on TV.

TV presenter....Legend or Not, the guy is terrible and should get lessons or get off the TV screen. I stand by my complaint :talktothehand

personally i'd have the guy who covers the Eurosport Seria A, he use to be on Channel 4 for their Italian football programme and was good. Sorry for the unpopular decision folks, but people laugh at Barnes AND our club over this.

He was OK as a pundit on ITV but isn't an easy job to present a program and he shows it, they should get a half decent presenter not necessarily from a footballing background and keep Barnes as permanent pundit or something because C5's coverage can be unbareable as it is!

as a pundit, Barnes was great. But If you compare Barnes to Garry on Match of the day, it's obvious he's lacking. I just get anoyed when i see people laughing at one of our legends and laughing at our club because of him....hence i emailed channel 5 asking why he was fronting their show. I respect people diosagreeing with me, but I stand by my opinion.

Do you complain about soaps as well on C5 as i think family affairs is terrible. Maybe you can send an E-mail. Dont forget about Eastenders which is gone down hill.
