Well after seeing this video

Link

Does anyone think he should be given an ambassador role of the club? or at least as a spoke person for the club, he is the only ex player to have at least made sense during this fiasco and I would love to see him part of our club in a way

Barnes is a legend but handing him a role now just feels wrong because people will take it as. "Ok LFC wants to deflect the racism stuff". He deserves it but wait until this is over.

Whats wrong with giving him a role that would help make amends between the club and the FA and anti-racism organizations?

Absolutely.  Barnes is one of the classiest footballers I've ever heard.  He was trying to look at it from a neutral point of view even tho he played for Liverpool, and was man enough to stand up and say it's being blown way out of proportion.

Anyone has a link to the SSN interview? he put Patrick Barclay into place when he said ''why weren't you writing about this 20 years ago when it was happening to me''. Barclay couldn't respond to that (on talksport)

He would be a great PR for the club :nod
