Serginho is going to put that cross over in a minute (Edit: It's penalties by the time I've finished this post), and I swear to God, even Jerzy doesn't know how he saved that.

I can't help it you know. I'm obsessed with this game.

The first game I ever saw as a Liverpool fan was the 1986 FA Cup final, and I still have the original video cassette in my house of what my Dad taped that Saturday afternoon in 1986. It's a nineteen year old video cassette, it's fuc*ed. At half time, the panel was Andy Gray, Emlyn Hughes and El Terry Venables. The daft thing is, I know the tape off by heart as if it is a script you have to learn for a film. I know John Motsons commentary, I know Jimy Hill's retort's, I know the order Goal of The Season finished in when they announced it at half time, I know the exact minutes the goals were scored in, I know the name of the two linesmen and the referee, I know both teams off by heart, I have lived that match since I was five yars old.

I hope one day, I can say the same about the 2005 European Cup final.

jonny that tape must have lines going through it by now 19 year old, that save from dudek no one realy gave him credit at the time if you watch it in slow motion he did guess where the ball was going fantastic save it was meant to be so many things went for us in the tounament the minute gerrard scored to make it 3-1 against olympiakos i knew we were going to win the whole thing and thats on my life its the best goal under the heat of the moment i have ever seen from a liverpool player sheer magical i lost my voice after it.

I love that shot you know, as soon as Gerrard lifts the trophy, the camera cuts to Rafa and Fernando deep in conversation. Class moment.

Its all fantastic - still get goosebumps every time I see each of our goals, Dudeks save, Shevchenkos penalty, the look on Stevie's face when he lifts the cup, and I've watched it a lot of times now!
Bad day at work? - seven minutes near the beginning of the 2nd half will fix that! - argument with the Mrs - well that takes the whole fcukin game!
